In particular, the work includes a review and analysis of Rosstat data and WHO statistical reports, analytical and statistical reports «Demographic Challenges in Russia», «World Health Statistics», scientific research «Spring of Fertility in the Russian Federation». The research methodology that forms the basis of this article includes qualitative content analysis of existing reports and documents related to demography in the Russian Federation, synthesis and deductive methods. Like other analytical methods in qualitative research, document analysis requires examining and interpreting data in order to make sense, achieve understanding, and develop empirical knowledge. This method is central to this work. In addition, the agent-based artificial society model of the socio-economic system of Russia can be applied as a platform for experiments in the field of demographic processes management. This article discusses the unique technical and ethical challenges posed by current trends in contemporary demographic dynamics in Russia.","PeriodicalId":495777,"journal":{"name":"Iskusstvennye obŝestva","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135709722","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Not only the scientist's scientific achievements, but also his significant contribution to pedagogical theory and practice, allow us to describe him as a significant scientific figure of the twentieth century. His mathematics textbooks and reference books are reprinted almost annually, so that his ideas continue to influence educational and scientific practice to this day. This article is the second in a series of publications prepared by the author, who is the great-grandson of M.Y. Vygodsky. This research presents previously unpublished scientific results and discoveries concerning the life and work of the scholar. Firstly, based on archival data and family memories, detailed facts about his origins, young years and his development as a scientist are presented. At the same time, a rather complete chronology of M.Y. Vygodsky's scientific activity and personal life is compiled. Secondly, for the first time, a complete list of his main scientific contributions has been prepared, which makes it possible to assess the talent and the scale of his academic achievements. The presented results may be useful for prospective scientific and historical studies. In the modern context, it seems valuable to present a picture of M.Y. Vygodsky's life and work, as he was an interdisciplinary researcher and in this he was ahead of his time. In our changing world, contemporary challenges require the same interdisciplinarity to solve complex problems, and a fresh look at the life and work of a scholar like M.J. Vygodsky can stimulate inspiration in the modern researcher, student, and anyone seeking development and awareness.","PeriodicalId":495777,"journal":{"name":"Iskusstvennye obŝestva","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135709729","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Russia has the potential to achieve conceptual and intellectual leadership in addressing challenges that remain relevant for all of humanity, such as climate change management, development of scientifically grounded ecological policies, space exploration, new energy generation technologies, reassembling of international organizations activities, and the transition to meaningful comprehensive development governance. The thesis is declared that the world as a cultural-civilizational complex will continue to globalize in the civilizational context (technologies, transportation, communication, comfort, modern clothing, footwear, building materials, etc.), and in the cultural context, it will become more equitable and just. Furthermore, value-added chains will continue to function despite political obstacles and limitations. Humanity is now faced with the necessity to make a choice between developmental imitation (catch-up or sustainable development) and genuine development, which implies breakthroughs into the unknown, scientific research, and the development of technologies that currently appear inconceivable. Will we continue to play bureaucratic games in the style of "We are merely executors, following rules and procedures, obeying instructions and carrying out orders whose meanings we do not understand," or will we take responsibility for achieving ambitious results? Every political leader, scientist, manager, and ordinary person finds themselves facing this existential choice today.","PeriodicalId":495777,"journal":{"name":"Iskusstvennye obŝestva","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135709725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the age of globalization and the era of digitalization, the format and content of these relations has reached a new level. Today there are areas of application where artificial intelligence and neural network technologies are “smarter” than humans. Currently, the world has already begun a massive process of “de-neurosetivization”, so in March 2023 an open letter was published calling for the suspension of training of artificial intelligence systems. The letter was signed by technology gurus such as SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. Many Russian opinion leaders take a low-profile pragmatic stance in the sense that technology development always has costs. Emerging new challenges require a search for an answer to them, but not a suspension of innovative development. Along with this, new questions of the moral and ethical nature of the interaction between machines and humans arise. One of the key tasks of our time is to determine the boundaries of what is permitted for each of the parties. This is especially true for the field of science and higher education, where a student or scientist must be able to independently confirm their qualifications and knowledge. The most striking case in Russia was the defense of a bachelor's thesis by a student of the Russian State University for the Humanities, completely written by the ChatGPT neural network. As the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov assured, no sanctions will be applied to the graduate and will not affect the award of a bachelor's degree in any way, but now the academic community is puzzled by the issues of changing the knowledge assessment system in accordance with new technological challenges. Thus, we are talking about ethical standards not only for technologies, but also for people.","PeriodicalId":495777,"journal":{"name":"Iskusstvennye obŝestva","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135709721","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The developed agent-oriented model allows us to study trading interactions under various parameters of the external environment. In such a model, each agent is an independent entity capable of entering into barter transactions with other agents. A feature of the proposed approach is a detailed (microscopic) method for simulating multiple interactions between agents with the calculation of individual utility from each transaction and the subsequent calculation of the value of the aggregate (integral) utility function of the multi-agent socio-economic system under study. As a result of the implementation this model, numerical experiments were carried out using the Monte Carlo method, as well as by varying the values of the control parameters, i.e. with a different number of agents, the number of products offered, the radius of trade interaction, etc. As a result of the conducted numerical experiments, important dependencies between the main initial parameters and the target utility function were revealed. Also, the model presented in this article has possible directions for further research, which include taking into account additional factors and parameters in the model and their impact on the results of barter transactions. The proposed model can be used to determine the best strategies for trading interactions under various scenario conditions.","PeriodicalId":495777,"journal":{"name":"Iskusstvennye obŝestva","volume":"117 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135709726","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on a database of 1100 serial crimes (Chikatilo, Popkov, Makarenkov, etc.), the author has built their digital model containing information about their typical features and regular relationships between them. Based on this digital model, using artificial intelligence methods, it is possible to build a search portrait of a serial offender, establish a connection between unsolved crimes for seriality and identify the involvement of persons previously prosecuted for similar acts. In working with the data, a number of artificial intelligence algorithms were used: logistic regression, decision trees, random forest, gradient boosting, clustering, neural networks. The results of the study allowed us to draw conclusions about the possibility of using artificial intelligence in the study of crimes, the formation of their digital model, the construction of decision support systems for scientific and practical problems.","PeriodicalId":495777,"journal":{"name":"Iskusstvennye obŝestva","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135709728","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
