Ancak, tüm bu güvenlik önlemleri alındığında bile, işçinin yorgunluğunun güvenlikte kritik bir rol oynadığı unutulmamalıdır. Yorgun bir işçi, ne kadar güvenlik protokolü olursa olsun, bu protokolleri uygulamakta zorlanabilir. Bu nedenle, özellikle dikkat ve özen gerektiren endüstriyel görevlerde, çalışanların yorgun olup olmadığını belirlemenin hayati öneme sahip olduğu kabul edilmiştir. Çalışmamızda, işçilerin uzun ve kısa vadede işlerini sağlıklı bir şekilde sürdürebilmeleri adına yorgunluk tespitine odaklandık. Bu bağlamda, gerçek zamanlı video görüntülerini kullanarak, görüntü işleme teknikleriyle yüz tespiti gerçekleştirildi ve yüzdeki belirli referans noktaları haritalandı. Göz ve ağız açıklığı ile başın eğiklik seviyesi, yorgunluk belirtileri olarak belirlendi ve bu parametreler eşik değerlere göre değerlendirildi. Ayrıca, işçinin dikkatini ve bilgisini ölçmek amacıyla yorgunluk tespit sırasında iş sağlığı ve güvenliğiyle ilgili sesli ve görsel sorular da sorulmuştur. Böylelikle işçinin belirli iş aktiviteleri ve ekipmanlar için ne kadar hazır olduğunu belirlemeye çalıştık. Ek olarak, sistem, yüz tanıma teknolojisiyle bireysel yorgunluk raporları hazırlayabilmektedir. The utilization of drones in diverse sectors raises concerns about their vulnerability to potential attacks that disrupt or obstruct their operational mechanisms. In this work, we first demonstrate how navigation attacks can compromise a drone’s system, using GPS jamming and spoofing attacks via HackRF One PortaPack Software Defined Radio (SDR) device. Next, we propose a mechanism called “Return-to-Start”, which can protect a drone from loss by responding promptly to such widely spread navigational attacks. We evaluate the effectiveness of our solution through experiments on a Raspberry Pi-based drone we developed. Dirençli Şehir, Sürdürülebilir Şehir ve Akıllı Şehir endeksleri, kentsel yaşamın farklı yönlerini değerlendirmek için bir çerçeve sağlayarak yaşanabilirlik endeksinin oluşturulmasını etkileyebilir. Yeni endeks, deprem, sel, fırtına gibi afet faktörlerini de dahil ederek şehirlerin yaşanabilirliğine ilişkin daha güvenilir bir ölçüm sağlamak amacıyla geliştirilmiştir. Ayrıca covid-19, kişi başına düşen yeşil alan, şehirlerin yoğunluğu, finansal destekler, iş-yaşam dengesi, şehrin yönetimi gibi güncel ve sorunlu konulara da odaklanmaktadır. Makale temel olarak üç kategorinin geliştirilmesiyle yeni bir yaşanabilirlik endeksi önermektedir: İstikrar, Çevre ve Kültür. Yeni yaşanabilirlik endeksinin, şehir sakinlerinin yaşam kalitesini etkileyebilecek çok çeşitli faktörleri göz önünde bulundurarak şehirlerin yaşanabilirliğine ilişkin daha kapsamlı ve güvenilir bir ölçüm sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Makalede ayrıca eski endeksin revize edilerek yeni endeksin oluşturulmasında kullanılan yaşanabilirlik göstergesi ağırlıklarına ilişkin bir anket de yer almaktadır. Alanında uzman kişilerin desteğiyle göstergelerin ağırlıklandırılması AHP yöntemiyle yapılmıştır. It is created by making use of approaches such as game theory. Game theory is the task of determining the best strategy within the framework of the rules in an application that is considered a certain game. In planning, it will be possible to determine the formation of the best housing, commercial or social facilities and the determination of development areas with area-based correlation within the planning rules, with game theory. As a game theory element, it was tried to explain how to create the best open application development plan with the integral function of population, population growth amount, area-based surface area amounts according to plan definitions. {"title":"Metformin Administration to Glucose-restricted Cells Attenuates PKA Signaling in S. cerevisiae","authors":"Esra BÖRKLÜ","doi":"10.7240/jeps.1254802","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.7240/jeps.1254802","url":null,"abstract":"Recent research in cancer treatment points to metformin, a drug for type 2 diabetes, as a potential anti-cancer therapeutic, as well as carbon limitation as a dietary measure. A new study, investigating effects of metformin treatment on colorectal cancer cells, pointed to the fact that response to metformin treatment depended on extracellular glucose concentration. That is why in the current study, effects of both carbon limitation and metformin treatment are explored via transcriptomics analyses. It is demonstrated that cells grown in glucose-limited and metformin treated medium had the highest variance according to transcriptional profiles, compared to individual treatments. Metformin administration, when combined with glucose restriction, downregulates proliferative pathways such as transcription initiation and ribosome biogenesis while upregulates energy derivation and autophagic mechanisms. Enrichment analyses point to an attenuated cAMP-PKA signaling pathway in the cells grown in combined treatment medium. In addition to this interest, it also attracted the attention of crime and crime organizations in a short time, and over time it turned into a tool used by illegal organizations such as laundering the proceeds of crime. Although this structure was initially exposed to the reaction of some states at the level of nation states, on the other hand, it managed to get the support of many states. However, although the spread of blockchain-based money laundering methods is an undeniable problem for all states, a significant cooperation has not been achieved by international collaborations and organizations to prevent this situation. On the other hand, it is of great importance for law enforcement and forensic analysts to clarify this situation and to fight against these structures in order to protect national interests. In this study; In this study, an approach that will detect money laundering is tried to be presented through sample scenarios by bringing a broad perspective to crypto money-based money laundering methods, which are very difficult to trace due to their nature. Kalp kası iltihaplanmalarının oluşmasına başta virüsler olmak üzere bakteri, mantar ve otoimmün hastalıklar sebep olmaktadır. Doku mühendisliği, herhangi bir nedenle yapısı bozulmuş biyolojik dokuları yeniden eski haline getirmeyi, yapısal ve fonksiyonel özelliklerini onarmayı amaçlayan multidisipliner bir bilim dalıdır. Bu çalışmada, kalp kası enfeksiyonlarına yönelik doku mühendisliği yaklaşımı ile kurkumin (KUR) yüklü üç boyutlu polilaktik asit (PLA) doku iskeleleri üretilmiş ve morfolojik, kimyasal, mekanik ve biyolojik özellikler bakımından test edilmişlerdir. Kurkuminin etkisini incelemek için üç farklı miktar (10, 15 ve 20 mg) %17 PLA içerisine eklenip, üç boyutlu doku iskeleleri üretilmiştir. Taramalı elektron mikrsokop (SEM) ile yapılan morfolojik analizler, tüm iskele yapılarının homojen por dağılımına sahip olduklarını göstermiştir. Fourier dönüşümlü kızılötesi spektroskopisi (FTIR) ile yapılan kimyasal analiz sonucunda kurkumin eklenmesinin matriks yapıya ait pikleri kaydırdığı gözlenmiştir. Çekme testi sonuçları incelendiğinde kurkumin eklenmesinin %17 PLA’ nın çekme dayanımını arttırdığı gözlenmiş ve en yüksek çekme dayanımı 20 mg kurkumin içeren doku iskelesine ait olarak bulunmuştur. As a result of CFD analysis, the maximum hot side temperature, the temperature difference between the hot and cold sides, and the average heat transfer rate on the hot side of the TEM are found to be 274.9 °C, 70.4 °C, and 33.8 W, respectively, at 15 m/s of hot air inlet velocity. Besides, the maximum hot side temperature, the temperature difference between the hot and cold sides, and the average heat transfer rate on the hot side of the TEM are determined to be 432.8 °C, 114.9 °C, and 55.1 W, respectively, for 800 °C of hot air inlet temperature at 15 m/s of hot air inlet velocity. Such composites have a wide range of applications in aviation, automotive, energy, and many other industrial sectors. In this study, the effects of surface-coated expanded polystyrene (rEPS) bubbles added to epoxy matrix at different ratios (%1, %3, %7, %11, and %14) on material properties were investigated. Material properties such as density, hardness, surface gloss at a 60° angle, and Charpy impact strength were measured according to varying rEPS ratios. The results showed that rEPS bubbles reduced density, thereby reducing the weight of the material, affected surface gloss, and decreased impact strength. There was no significant difference in hardness values, but impact strength decreased with increasing rEPS content. The effects of homogeneous distribution of rEPS bubbles on material properties were examined, and it was emphasized that the use of rEPS should be optimized with appropriate production processes. Firstly, the thermophysical properties of the waste heat source and the volumetric flow rates of the flows were obtained, and the maximum heat that could be recovered was obtained. Afterward, a parametric study was carried out to size the recuperator. The parameters affecting the cost, such as hot flow and cold flow outlet temperatures, were determined by the overall heat transfer coefficient, effectiveness, and pressure drop. Finally, the thermal parameters obtained from the parametric study are used in the technoeconomic analysis. The recuperator geometry with the maximum saving coefficient was determined considering investment and operating costs.
