The proposed system comprises three key components: a binocular vision system, an unscented Kalman filter trajectory and velocity prediction system, and an algorithmic data analysis system. The binocular vision system uses two fixed cameras to record the ball’s movement. This system is a valuable resource for professional table tennis athletes and coaches, providing precise data for comprehensive sports analysis. In contrast to other studies, this research introduces a cost-effective and highly convenient 3-D trajectory analysis system for table tennis. The system achieves sufficient accuracy using only two low-resolution, low-frame-rate devices and a simple calibration process. Chatbots are one of the most widely used technological options for automating processes. This article aims to integrate chatbot technology with health information systems (HISs) to improve the execution of health-care processes. Specifically, it presents the COTriage framework, which proposes model-driven mechanisms for improving the design and development of process-oriented HISs with chatbot-based triage process integration. The proposal was also instantiated with the COVID-19 triage process and assisted reproduction treatment processes on iMedea (a real HIS). The linking point between this wide range of diseases is the strong social impact they have, degrading the freedom of action of the patient; the loss of functionality of motor neurons, caused by progressive degradation, makes the body unable to move. Thus, our solution aims at making patients more autonomous in their daily activities and at improving remote health-care monitoring for medical staff by combining virtual reality, building information modeling (BIM), the Internet of Things (IoT), and eye-tracking technologies. Initially, the article reviews the current state of the art for wireless control development in CSP systems, emphasizing their early stage in terms of adopting wireless communication technology. The article introduces the novel HELIOCOMM system, which leverages the advanced wireless networking technology of integrated access and backhaul to support wireless closed-loop controls in the CSP field, while additionally employing artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence-based clustering, entropy-based routing, and resource allocation. These elements enhance the energy efficiency of the photovoltaic and battery operating heliostats, reduce the latency to guarantee the closed-loop control of the heliostats in a real-time manner, and optimize bandwidth allocation in wireless links. By examining current research, we underscore AI’s potential in advancing diagnostics and patient care, alongside blockchain’s capacity to bolster data security and patient privacy. We focus particularly on the imperative to cultivate trust and ensure reliability within these systems. Our review highlights innovative solutions for managing health-care data and challenges, such as ensuring scalability, maintaining privacy, and promoting ethical practices, within the MedIoT domain. We present a vision for integrating AI-driven insights with blockchain security in health care, offering a comprehensive review of current research and future directions. Existing monitoring methods like IoT sensor-based surveillance offer accuracy but struggle with transmission inefficiency. Conversely, UAV-based surveillance enables seamless communication but limited sensing capabilities. This article addresses the challenges of latency, energy efficiency, and cost in state-of-the-art leakage detection technologies for OGI pipelines. A three-tier architecture is proposed, integrating IoT, UAVs, and artificial intelligence-empowered edge computing to enhance pipeline surveillance. We aim to propose specialized routing that addresses IoT energy and fault tolerance issues, while UAVs act as relays to transmit data efficiently to control centers, considering factors like UAV energy and data complexity. Intelligent edge services optimize data transmission, prolong UAV lifespan, and manage latency.
