To this end, a sample of 86 organizations affiliated with the Banana Association of the province of Los Ríos was selected. Companies producing fruit in Ecuador that contribute to high volumes of banana production are located in this geographical area. The quantitative-descriptive study allowed the results regarding the banana industry to be obtained, relating experiential learning in the formation of knowledge shared by banana agricultural workers when rotating in banana farms as part of their daily work. However, positive attitudes were found in workers' performance; new ideas are not promoted in this type of industry, so there is no direct relationship with knowledge.","PeriodicalId":485115,"journal":{"name":"Universidad, ciencia y tecnología","volume":"78 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135036864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a key point of these, and through its application, it is intended to be updated in development and organizational competitiveness. The research aims to identify the culture of innovation in small Ecuadorian banana companies. The methodology used was quantitative-descriptive and correlational to determine the impact of innovation on the organizational culture. Initially, Cronbach's Alpha, which was 0.97, was applied, corresponding to the reliability of the questionnaire formulated based on 17 questions. Later, the Kaiser Meyer Olkin (KMO) test gave a result of 0.89, which allowed a factor analysis; finally, two reduced factors and the correlation of variables were obtained. In conclusion, it is asserted that in small Ecuadorian banana companies, the culture of innovation is not applied properly.","PeriodicalId":485115,"journal":{"name":"Universidad, ciencia y tecnología","volume":"82 21","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135037340","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
