This study focuses on the overseas Batak community who migrated with the urge to achieve hagabeon, hamoraon, and hasangapon. Yogyakarta has become one of the destinations for the migration of the overseas Batak community. The study aims to discover how the Dalihan Na Tolu value system is reflected in the architectural patterns of the Batak community's homes in Yogyakarta. The data sources included physical evidence found in residential homes, reconstructed spatial arrangements based on observations and interviews with individuals who have been displaced from their homeland (specifically Tapanuli, North Sumatra), as well as notes and writings about the history, social, and cultural conditions of the Batak community in Yogyakarta. The gamma map technique was used to analyze the spatial depth level and position of the three functional groups in Dalihan Na Tolu. The principle of Dalihan Na Tolu persists through spatial adaptation, placing hula-hula positions in areas with high connectivity and away from circulation pathways. The persistence of the Dalihan Na Tolu value system is an attitude of respect for hula-hula.","PeriodicalId":482954,"journal":{"name":"Atrium","volume":"51 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136346559","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The agreement to conduct the restoration of this ancient site raised concerns about the duration and required space for the restoration process. Moreover, complications arose due to the location of the artifact discovery directly beneath the construction site. This article presents a literature review of various scholarly journals directly related to the reconstruction of buried temple structures. It aims to provide insights into the temple reconstruction process amid a comprehensive redesign of the university's library building. The study reveals crucial factors that significantly influenced the successful and relatively swift completion of the Candi Kimpulan restoration project. This endeavor serves as a positive benchmark for similar cases of buried temple discoveries, offering valuable lessons in planning and executing restoration projects.","PeriodicalId":482954,"journal":{"name":"Atrium","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135740586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the shops in Bukit Keminting, Palangka Raya, have challenges. In addition to its function as a commercial building with essential criteria like visibility aspect, the position of the storefront along the road also directly faces the sunset. This causes the store to receive heat and glare from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Using web-based software development from AndrewMarsh.com. This study focuses on effective shading devices for stores in Bukit Keminting Palangka Raya in controlling heat radiation without eliminating the vital aspect of visibility for commercial buildings. The software analysis shows that a highly flexible device is the most suitable solution. The type of shading device with these properties is the type of external Venetian blind, which can be adjusted according to the direction of the incoming light, which changes every month.","PeriodicalId":482954,"journal":{"name":"Atrium","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135363592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
