An overview aims to provide a summary of the included reviews and will often examine research questions beyond those addressed in the systematic reviews being synthesised. The purpose of this article is to provide some recommendations on how overviews should be conducted and reported.\u0000\u0000\u0000METHOD\u0000A literature review was performed to identify relevant papers on both methodological and applied overviews.\u0000\u0000\u0000RESULTS\u0000The current literature recommends carrying out overviews by following similar steps to those of systematic reviews: (a) Defining the overview research question; (b) inclusion and exclusion criteria; (c) literature search; (d) data extraction; (e) assessment of risk of bias and reporting quality; (f) overview results; and (g) reporting the overview. Of special interest is how to address dependencies between the systematic reviews.\u0000\u0000\u0000CONCLUSIONS\u0000Overviews allow evidence to be efficiently combined from multiple systematic reviews. This offers the possibility of translating and summarizing large amounts of information. As in primary studies and systematic reviews, conducting and reporting of overviews must meet appropriate quality standards.

The aim of this study is to analyse the consequences after one year of the pandemic on a group of children and adolescents assessed at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and to determine the most effective ways of psychologically coping with this pandemic.\u0000\u0000\u0000METHOD\u0000Two different, but equivalent, groups with a total of 604 (study I, 2020) and 743 (study II, 2021) children and adolescents in residential care, foster families, kinship families or family strengthening programs in Spain were evaluated using the SDQ (mental health measure), KIDSCREEN-10 index (quality of life measure) and Kidcope (coping behaviour measure). An independent sample t-test and a decision tree analysis were used.\u0000\u0000\u0000RESULTS\u0000The mental health of children and adolescents decreased by 9.7%, and Self-Perceived quality of life did not change after one year of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nonactive coping strategies predicted worse mental health and worse quality of life. Problem solving served as a protective factor.\u0000\u0000\u0000CONCLUSION\u0000One year after, the COVID-19 pandemic has an effect on the psychological wellbeing of children and adolescents, and the consequences can be reduced if proper coping strategies are used.

Reading comprehension, word/non-word reading skills, phonological awareness and vocabulary were also evaluated.\u0000\u0000\u0000RESULTS\u0000The results show that prosody was significantly related to word and non-word reading, but phonological awareness was the only significant predictor of these reading outcomes. This study analyzes the moderating effect of CF, EA and activation (A) in relation to four criteria of anxiety and depression.\u0000\u0000\u0000METHOD\u0000A cross-sectional study of a clinical sample of adults was carried out by means of a questionnaire administered before (N = 172) and 6 months after (N = 114) participation in a clinical study.\u0000\u0000\u0000RESULTS\u0000Regression analyses gave results which were consistent in the two evaluations. The EAxCF interaction modulated anxiety symptomatology, whereas A was not a significant predictor. Nevertheless, a reduction in A was the principal modulating condition in the symptomatology of depression; and although CF and EA did act as independent predictors, the EAxCF interaction was not significant.\u0000\u0000\u0000CONCLUSIONS\u0000The presence and intensity of manifestations of emotional distress are explained and modulated by the progressive concurrence of CF, EA and reduction in A. This study aimed to translate and evaluate the psychometric properties of the BCLE-SEI Spanish version with Spanish-speaking breast cancer patients.METHOD286 patients were recruited (2018 to 2020), from the Hospital Universitario Central de Asturias. Data analysis included descriptive statistics; internal consistency and test-retest reliability; principal component analysis and exploratory factor analysis; average variance extracted; and receiver operating characteristic curves.RESULTSNo semantic modifications to items were needed. The scores of the instrument demonstrated excellent internal consistency (Cronbach´s alpha = .95-.97; McDonald´s omega = .96-.98) and test-retest reliability (r = .78-.87, n = 29). A significant difference was observed between the lymphedema group and non-lymphedema group (p < .001) in terms of total scale, symptom occurrence (p < .001), symptom distress in the physical-functional (p < .001), and psychosocial dimension (p < .001). Principal component analysis for symptom occurrence revealed a unidimensional factor and two factors were identified for symptom distress via exploratory factor analysis, the two of which explained 45.71% and 54.77% of the total sample variance, respectively.CONCLUSIONSThis study provided initial evidence to support the psychometric properties of the BCLE-SEI Spanish version.
