However, little research has concentrated on its economic effects. We explore the impacts of 93 national demonstration EIPs on urban economic development using time‐varying difference‐in‐difference, based on panel data from 330 Chinese cities from 1995 to 2018. We show that EIPs have contributed to an economic growth range between 7.47% and 7.61% in pilot cities, with robustness considering price deflators and alternative satellite data on night lights. Structure, technological, and scale effects help explain the mechanisms. Further estimates show that EIPs have had mixed success in addressing the resource curse, where they only alleviate the curse for growing resource‐based cities. These 17 goals cover various global issues concerning health, education, inequality, environmental decline, and climate change. Several investigations have been carried out to track advancements toward these goals. However, there is limited research on forecasting SDG scores. This research aims to forecast SDG scores for global regions by 2030 using ARIMAX and LR (Linear Regression) smoothed by HW (Holt‐Winters') multiplicative technique. To enhance model performance, we used predictors identified from the SDGs that are more likely to be influenced by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the future. However, whether VSS improve economic sustainability remains subject to vigorous debate. A major limitation of the evidence base is that it does not systematically examine which VSS design attributes affect their impact. In this study, we develop a conceptual framework disentangling three main governance mechanisms through which VSS may affect farmer welfare, which we operationalize using secondary data from a nationally representative farm household survey in Peru. Our results underscore the dominant role of market‐based incentives, followed by capacity‐building, while rule enforcement with good agricultural practices has no effect on farm revenue. Additionally, organizational membership is found to amplify the revenue effects of VSS through market‐based incentives. {"title":"What drives sustainable climate change adaptation at the local level? Analyzing data from three surveys across Norwegian municipalities and counties, pooling 668 responses, the study statistically assesses drivers of adaptation efforts in 146 municipalities. Key findings show that factors such as political awareness, risk perception, stakeholder collaboration, and municipality size significantly influence adaptation efforts, with effectiveness depending on the conceptualization of adaptation. Political and stakeholder support is essential for mainstreaming, monitoring, and implementing adaptation measures, but not for promoting sustainabilty. This shows that local administrations are free to choose sustainable CCA, but that the quality of participatory processes should be scrutinized. This study empirically assesses the energy‐related efficiency (EE) comprised of the energy utilize stage and energy sustainable stage in China using a dynamic two‐stage data envelopment analysis model, and its influencing factors including digital economy with fixed‐effect models. The findings reveal a slight downward trend of EE from 2011 to 2020, primarily due to the poor performance of energy utilize stage. The subregional analysis illustrates that increasing clean energy use (CEU) is more beneficial to energy efficiency than reducing carbon emissions (CER). Dagum Gini coefficients indicate a growing disparity between regions. Additionally, a “U‐shaped” relationship between digital economy and EE is found, but two‐thirds provinces of China have not yet surpassed the turning point. Moreover, different degrees of CEU and CER will influence the impact of digital economy on EE. Environmental regulations and green technology innovation play positive moderating roles in the “U‐shaped” relationship. In this context, this study examines the effects of economic growth, modern renewable energy, and combustible renewable energy on ecological footprint (EF) in five African countries. To this end, the study uses novel regularization common correlated effects and half‐panel jackknife approaches on data from 2006 to 2020. The findings of the study show that economic progress effectively reduces the EF of African countries, but renewable energy does not contribute to ecological progress. Due to their insufficient and ineffective utilization, renewable energies are not an important tool for improving ecological systems. Therefore, African countries should prioritize their economic development as a priority goal. Although existing literature explores how sustainability is integrated into corporate culture in onsite contexts, a gap exists regarding this process in online teams. As such, this study explores how leaders embed sustainability into organizational culture in virtual contexts. Using thematic analysis on data gathered from interviews with 12 participants, this study suggests that leaders exhibit particular behaviors in this undertaking, including recognizing challenges, engaging employees, role modeling, crafting strategy and planning, monitoring and assessing performance, developing partnerships and activating internal communities, and aligning personal and organizational values. The Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) Algorithm was used to analyse 24.798 reviews from the Google Play Store, uncovering eight topics. Those topics were used to discover customer value perceptions in the shared e‐scooter context and compare them with the related literature on perceived value. Besides, their impact on user ratings on the mobile application platform was measured using machine learning algorithms. In this regard, this study deployed the most effective and advanced techniques like cross‐sectional auto‐regressive distributed lags, augmented mean group, and common correlated effects mean group to handle the issues of endogeneity, cross‐sectional dependence, and heterogeneity, which is not an easy task for conventional methods used in existing studies. This study has compiled a panel data set spanning from 2000 to 2019, across 13 EMEs. The main outcomes revealed that GF, TI, and human capital (HC) help in fostering significant GEG, whereas financial development (FD) and economic globalization (ECOGLB) fail.
