Panel regression is used to examine the correlation between risk factors, including primary operating revenue, fee-based income, internal and external factors, and the profitability of Islamic banks. Panel regression analysis has been conducted on the data from 2012-2016 to determine the factors that affect profitability and risk. The results show that pretax profit, after-tax profit as a proportion of total assets, and after-tax profit as a percentage of total equity react differently to income diversification. According to the findings, an increase in profit before taxes can be expected as the number and diversity of a company's revenue streams continue to expand. This indicates that the financial health of Islamic banks improves when they have access to many revenue streams. Furthermore, the standard deviation of baseline income shows that diversifying sources of income has little effect on internal risk.","PeriodicalId":479953,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business Law and Education","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135462184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The need for credit and the provision of credit facilities require collateral. The government has established a credit guarantee institution capable of providing legal certainty and legal protection. One of these institutions is the Mortgage Rights institution regulated by Law Number 4 of 1996 concerning Mortgage Rights on Land and Related Objects (UUHT). In the city of Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, there is a legal product in the field of land management based on regional autonomy, adhering to the principle of decentralization that grants authority through the enactment of Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2014 concerning State Land Opening Permits, known as \"Izin Membuka Tanah Negara\" (IMTN). IMTN is a permit granted by the Mayor or designated official to individuals or legal entities to open and/or utilize state-owned land directly controlled by the government. In this Regional Regulation, it is explicitly stated that IMTN cannot be used as collateral for debt transactions. However, in Balikpapan, there are still cooperatives or financing institutions that accept IMTN as collateral, binding it with a credit guarantee that is subsequently accompanied by an additional agreement known as \"Surat Kuasa Membebankan Hak Tanggungan\" (SKMHT). The existence of collateral with IMTN as the object is not permitted, as IMTN serves as administrative evidence for the initial proof of land rights ownership in Balikpapan. IMTN can later be processed to become land rights (Ownership Rights, Building Utilization Rights, Right to Use), which has led Notaries and Banks to accept IMTN as collateral.","PeriodicalId":479953,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business Law and Education","volume":"50 3-4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135512428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) through a quantitative analysis encompassing 487 MSMEs to explore a broad range of hypotheses. The findings highlight the paradoxical relationship that exists between sustainability and training, underscoring the necessity for HR procedures to be approached with delicacy. High employee engagement and successful hiring emerge as key factors that influence the performance of social entrepreneurship and sustainable business practices. Moreover, the research highlights the positive effects of MSMEs involved in social entrepreneurship on sustainable practices and the larger community, underscoring the connection between sustainability and social entrepreneurship. While the practical consequences direct strategic HR planning and the reform of training programs, the theoretical implications cover the advancement of Sustainable Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the enrichment of social entrepreneurship theory. The research offers significant perspectives for MSMEs aiming to harmonize HR procedures with sustainability goals and promote constructive societal influence.","PeriodicalId":479953,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Business Law and Education","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135728867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The findings of this research indicate that Indonesia tends to position cryptocurrencies in a \"limited\" capacity, restricting them to being considered investments rather than currency. Nevertheless, due to the legal gaps, there is a need to establish standardized, periodic, and embedded security measures overseen by Bappebti to ensure maximum protection provided by every cryptocurrency wallet service provider.
