Qualitative research using a case study approach was conducted, with the Green Farmer Women's Group in Anawai Village, Kendari City as the research subject. Data were collected through observation and interviews using research instruments in the form of interview guides. The data analysis technique used consists of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The P2L program supports food security in KWT Hijau in Anawai Village, Kendari City. The program provides financial assistance through two stages: the growth stage and the development stage. The aim is to create food independence at the household scale for the beneficiaries of the P2L program. The P2L Program has generally been effective in supporting food security by fulfilling the right target criteria, ensuring understanding of the program, and achieving its goals. However, the actual changes before and after the program have not been optimal. The research is qualitative and therefore uses the term 'informants' instead of 'population' or 'sample'. The informants in this study are individuals who work as wet-rice farmers in Abadi Jaya Village. The sample size was determined using the snowball sampling technique, with a total of 5 informants. The research data was collected using survey, observation, and interview methods with an interview guide as the instrument. The data analysis consisted of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The extension media used to disseminate information to wet-rice farmers in Abadi Jaya Village, Maginti Subdistrict is a type of leaflet print media. The function of extension media in enhancing the capacity of wet-rice farmers is to disseminate information related to solutions to farming problems. This information is conveyed to farmers through various mediums. A qualitative approach was employed, with 11 rice farmers selected as informants through the snowball sampling technique. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, utilizing an interview guide as a medium. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method for data analysis. This involved identifying, systematically presenting, processing, and interpreting the collected data. The results indicate that farmer groups in Bou Village, Lambandia Sub-district, play a significant role in enhancing farmers' knowledge and skills, particularly in the procurement of subsidized fertilizers. The function of farmer groups is demonstrated by their role as a learning community, a cooperative vehicle, and a production unit. The role of Field Agricultural Extension Workers (PPL) has been effective in assisting farmers in the process of obtaining subsidized fertilizers, particularly in their role as mediators, facilitators, and initiators. However, the role of motivator has not been successfully fulfilled by extension workers. The procurement of subsidized fertilizers is based on six principles: the right type, quantity, price, place, time, and quality. The distribution of subsidized fertilizers has successfully achieved the principles of the right type, place, time, and quality. The research population comprised 231 wet-rice farmers in Ngkaring-Karing Village, out of which 39 respondents were randomly selected as the sample. Data was collected using survey and interview methods, with an interview guide as the research instrument. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the activities and roles of farmer groups, and productivity analysis was used to determine the level of productivity of paddy rice. The results indicate that the farmer groups in Ngkaring-Karing Village have three roles: a learning class, a vehicle for cooperation, and a production unit. The role of paddy rice farmer groups is dominated by their function as a vehicle for farmer cooperation. The study population consisted of 25 farmers, and the research sample was determined using the census method. A quantitative approach was employed to conduct the research. The data collection techniques used in this study included interviews, recordings, and documentation methods, utilizing media in the form of questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis with the class interval formula and Spearman rank correlation analysis, with the help of SPSS software version 16. The results showed that the social capital owned by wet-rice farmers in Wawouru Village consisted of aspects of trust, norms, and social networks, each of which was in the high category. The sustainability of wet-rice farming in Wawouru Village is high, as reflected in the social, technological, and institutional dimensions. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of farmer innovations in controlling shallot caterpillar pests using lamp traps in Tontonan Village. The text has been revised to adhere to conventional structure, clear and objective language, formal register, precise word choice, and grammatical correctness. The content has not been changed beyond minor adjustments to improve clarity and flow. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach and involved shallot farm owners in the village who use the innovation of lamp traps to control pests in shallot plants. The informants were selected through the snowball sampling method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation using media such as interview guides. The data was analyzed using a qualitative analysis consisting of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study revealed that implementing light traps to control Spodoptera Exigua pests in shallot plants is a viable alternative for farmers in comparison to using synthetic or chemical pesticides. The benefits of pest control using light traps are numerous, including being environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and capable of enhancing the quality and quantity of shallot production, thereby increasing the income of farmers. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation using an interview guide. The data analysis followed a qualitative method that involved four stages: data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that mustard farmers in Jati Bali Village primarily rely on synthetic pesticides for pest control. Farmers have demonstrated competence in pest control, as evidenced by their knowledge, attitudes, and skills in the farming process. However, their knowledge is limited to the use of chemical pesticides, and they lack sufficient understanding of other pest control methods, such as biological control, mechanical control, and disruption of the pest breeding cycle. Farmers who are involved in pest control should possess a positive attitude towards environmentally friendly pest control and have the necessary skills to apply different control methods effectively.
