O declínio da mortalidade e da fecundidade são os 2 fatores que mais contribuem para a inversão da pirâmide etária, resultando em um aumento percentual da faixa etária idosa. O processo de envelhecimento envolve mudanças psicológicas, funcionais, biológicas e fisiológicas. Dentro da última categoria citada, destacam-se as alterações metabólicas e hormonais. Deste modo, a proposta do projeto será monitorar idosos matriculados em uma academia em Maringá, analisando principalmente as modificações hormonais, com enfoque na testosterona, e metabólicas. As alterações apresentadas serão usadas para verificar se existe ou não uma relação do aumento da testosterona com o exercício físico, e consequentemente da qualidade de vida. O aspecto de qualidade de vida englobará também a saúde mental do indivíduo.","PeriodicalId":476282,"journal":{"name":"International journal of developmental research","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135083767","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The water, ash, crude fat, crude protein, crude polysaccharide, amino acid, vitamin and mineral elements were detected by the methods of national standard. The results showed that the crude protein of the three Lactarius ranged from 15.8 to 36.9 g/100g, crude polysaccharide from 2.2 to 4.5 g/100g, ash from 2.6 to 12 g/100g, crude fat from 1 to 4 g/100g, essential amino acids from 2320 to 4492 mg/100g. The crude protein, crude polysaccharide, crude fat and essential amino acid contents of Lf. volemus were significantly higher than those of L. vividus and L. hatsudake, but the latter two were better than Lf. volemus in terms of mineral elements and vitamin contents. Through principal component analysis, Lf. volemus obtained a higher comprehensve score. In terms of function, the intelligence effect, weight loss effect and selenium-rich ability of Lf. volemus are better than those of L. vividus and L. hatsudake. The results provide a basis and reference for the development and utilization of these three kinds of Lactarius and the development of large health industry.","PeriodicalId":476282,"journal":{"name":"International journal of developmental research","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135132004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

É decorrente de uma autodigestão enzimática causada, principalmente, por casos de litíase biliar e consumo alcoólico, que se apresenta na forma de dor abdominal intensa de início abrupto. Com base nessa temática, o presente estudo, tratando-se de uma revisão bibliográfica de natureza exploratória, utilizou-se de 18 artigos selecionados conforme os critérios de inclusão estabelecidos, com o objetivo de ampliar os conhecimentos sobre os principais fatores de risco, diagnóstico e tratamento da PA. Assim, foram pesquisados referenciais teóricos publicados no período 2017-2023, nas principais bases de dados, com destaque para o Google acadêmico. A partir dos resultados obtidos, ficou claro que essa é uma doença de cunho multifatorial, que ainda apresenta muitas dificuldades em seu diagnóstico e, por conta disso, um tratamento com limitações, necessitando de uma abordagem cautelosa e eficaz.","PeriodicalId":476282,"journal":{"name":"International journal of developmental research","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135132002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this study was to test the agreement between women with and without oral hormonal contraceptive (OC) use on the perception of sexual receptivity by facial expression, a complex social emotion. A total of 135 women participated in the study, 30 with and 105 without OC use, all older than 18 (Mean age 40.3). The volunteer participants completed an online form containing the Sexual Receptivity by Facial Expression (SRFE) scale images. The scale data were observed as means, with no significant differences between the groups. The results corroborate data from the literature regarding the interference of OC use on female emotional processing. Although without statistically significant differences, women using OC tend to agree less with the presence of sexual receptivity in facial expressions. In situations of clinical cases regarding altered female perception, the use of OC is a data to be investigated.","PeriodicalId":476282,"journal":{"name":"International journal of developmental research","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136239505","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Après des tests de racine unitaire et de cointégration, nous avons trouvé qu’il existe une relation de long terme entre le logarithme des émissions de dioxyde de carbone (LECO2) et les variables explicatives. En utilisant l’estimateur Pooled Mean Group sur plusieurs séries de régressions et avec un panel dynamique, nos résultats montrent un impact positif et significatif du Produit Intérieur Brut et de la consommation en énergies fossiles sur les émissions de CO2 et nous obtenons une validité empirique d’une courbe en « U » inversé ou Courbe Environnementale de Kuznets (CEK), lorsque nous considérions l’hétérogénéité entre ces États, la relation reste positive pour la Côte d’Ivoire et négative pour le Mali. Ainsi, pour éviter ou atténuer l’impact de la croissance et de l’utilisation des énergies fossiles sur les ECO2, les gouvernements et les acteurs qui œuvrent pour la préservation de la qualité de l’environnement doivent (i) recourir à des technologies additives dans le processus de production ; (ii) réduire l’utilisation des combustibles fossiles et se tourner vers les énergies renouvelables qui émettent moins de polluants dans l’atmosphère ; et (iii)encourager l’innovation verte avec les subventions pour la recherche-développement (R-D), la facilitation de la substitution entre technologies polluantes et technologies propres et le recours à une taxe carbone.","PeriodicalId":476282,"journal":{"name":"International journal of developmental research","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136239506","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Patient acuity is quickly determined via triage. A triage system prioritizes essential patients by identifying and categorizing them. It classifies patients by kind and urgency to bring the right patient to the right place at the right time with the right care provider. Student nurses are future quality care providers, thus they play a unique role in hospital emergency triage and treatment. They should learn more about emergency triage so they can make precise judgments for early detection, successful referral, and patient prevention. To minimize emergency department morbidity and mortality, staff and student nurses should participate in in-service education, teaching, demonstration, and self-learning. Methodology: The study setting was conducted at MHR DAV Institute of Nursing and LalaLajpatRai Institute of Nursing Education, Jalandhar, Punjab. The study sample comprised of 100 student nurses from selected Nursing Institutions. Non probability purposive sampling technique was used to collect the data. Written consent was taken from the student nurses who were selected as sample. Self-structured knowledge questionnaire was used to evaluate the knowledge regarding emergency triage among student nurses. Information booklet was prepared and distributed among student nurses. Results and conclusion: The mean knowledge score regarding emergency triage among student nurses was 20.16 (±3.62) with mean percentage of 50.4%. Hence, it revealed that the student nurses were having average knowledge regarding emergency triage.","PeriodicalId":476282,"journal":{"name":"International journal of developmental research","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136239503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As AD is the most frequent neurodegeneration among the elderly, its relationship with DM has been increasingly discussed and investigated. We analyzed the relationship between AD and DM with its neurodegenerative disorders, metabolic correlations and neuropathological interaction in pharmacology. A narrative review was carried out, compiling articles published between 1996 and 2020 from the PubMed/MEDLINE, BVS/LILACS and Scielo databases in Portuguese, English and Spanish, using the keywords: \"Diabetes Mellitus\", \"Alzheimer's Disease\", \"Type 3 Diabetes\", \"Insulin Resistance\" and \"Antidiabetics\". A multifactorial correlation was observed, with insulin toxicity, hyperglycemia, presence of the Apoε 4 allele, and neurofibrillary tangle formation. The influence of pharmacology on therapy for these comorbidities was noted, highlighting the harmfulness of implemented medications. Prospective epidemiological studies should be conducted to analyze this correlation.","PeriodicalId":476282,"journal":{"name":"International journal of developmental research","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136239502","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
