{"title":"Mathematical insights into interval solutions of fuzzy relation inequalities for effective Information resource sharing in business education","authors":"Lei Zhang","doi":"10.1080/27690911.2023.2279179","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1080/27690911.2023.2279179","url":null,"abstract":"To examine the connectivity of educational and business institution networks and assess their resource accessibility, we have employed min-max fuzzy relation systems. This piece aims to delve into the outcomes resulting from various factors within a three-compartmental financial system. The research undergoes the dynamical max-min fuzzy solutions, which are expressed in an interval format. These solutions take into consideration variables such as the price index, interest rate, investment demand, fluctuations, cost per investment derived from saved funds, and the elasticity of market demand within the commercial sector. These variables are essential for comprehending the dynamics of the three-compartment financial system. It is difficult to obtain the entire set of solutions for the max-min fuzzy relation system using only minimal solutions. Some of these systems can be solved using optimized fuzzy relation models for both maximal and minimal solutions. Therefore, by converting the business market's financial system into a max-min fuzzy relation inequality, the strategy presented in this article tries to get the broadest and changing solution fluctuating between minimal and maximal solutions. With this suggested strategy for solving the problem, the limiting upper and lower values within which the given quantities fluctuate are identified. By measuring the breadth of the resulting interval, the range of fluctuation may be identified, giving a thorough insight into the system's behaviour. Due to the potential instability of market agents and their respective influences, fluctuations may occur in the demand, supply, and prices of indices in the financial system. Consequently, presenting the financial system in the format of the widest fuzzy interval solution can provide easily accessible information to the general public by illustrating the max-min fuzzy relation system of financial dynamics, outlining the necessary steps, and including a numerical example.","PeriodicalId":475946,"journal":{"name":"Applied mathematics in science and engineering","volume":" 41","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135241499","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Notably, our inquiry involves handling logarithmic functions within the reaction terms and accommodating the functions w0 and w1 in the boundary terms. Consequently, a pivotal task is to establish blowup conditions that intricately hinge on the characteristics of the domains and the boundary conditions. It is of significant note that our exploration incorporates domain and boundary information into the formulation of blowup conditions. By employing a combination of the potential well technique and energy estimation methodology, we delve into scenarios of low initial energy and critical initial energy. In doing so, we derive a set of sufficient conditions that encompass both the global existence and the potential explosive behaviour of solutions pertaining to this variant of the Klein–Gordon equation. This work contributes to enhancing our understanding of the intricate interplay between logarithmic nonlinearity, domain characteristics, and boundary conditions in shaping the behaviour of solutions in the realm of nonlinear wave equations.","PeriodicalId":475946,"journal":{"name":"Applied mathematics in science and engineering","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135730296","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For example, the operator can be of the forms (Tx)(t)=q(t)x(t−τ(t)), (Tx)(t)=∫1eQ(t,s)x(θ(s))ds or (Tx)(t)=∫1ex(s)dsQ(t,s). To do this, stability analysis has been performed at each of the biologically feasible equilibria of the model. It is found that the tumor-free equilibrium exists if the estrogen level is normal and is asymptotically stable if the growth of tumor cells in the presence of fat cells is less than the response rate of immune cells against the tumor; otherwise, it is unstable. However, the co-existing equilibrium exists for excess estrogen levels and it is stable, provided certain conditions hold. It is observed that the eradication or proliferation of tumor cells directly depends on the growth of fat cells, the response of the immune system against the tumor, and the estrogen level. Numerical simulations have been performed to verify the theoretical results.","PeriodicalId":475946,"journal":{"name":"Applied mathematics in science and engineering","volume":"2013 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136280337","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study calculates the monetary policy transparency index, inflation expectations, and their volatility spillover effects at a data-driven angle. Optimization mechanisms of monetary policy transparency influencing inflation and inflation expectations volatility, and transparency index based on market participants’ optimization decisions are analysed. Multivariate stochastic volatility models for measuring the volatility of inflation and inflation expectations are analysed. Additionally, the relationships between inflation and inflation expectations volatility and transparency are tested empirically. Tests show that: first, the most suitable models for measuring volatility of inflation and inflation expectations are obtained. Second, monetary policy transparency has a negative effect on the volatility of inflation and inflation expectations. Third, there is a unidirectional Granger relationship from the volatility of inflation expectations to the volatility of inflation, and it indicates that the volatility of inflation expectations has an important guiding effect on that of inflation, and it is necessary to stabilize inflation expectations for stabilizing inflation. Fourth, improving monetary policy transparency can not only reduce inflation, inflation expectations, inflation volatility, inflation expectations volatility, but also reduce the sacrifice rate, that is, to stabilize the price level with less anti-inflation costs.","PeriodicalId":475946,"journal":{"name":"Applied mathematics in science and engineering","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135816634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article investigates a fractionalised model for hepatitis B virus infection, curing infected cells. We analysed the fractional hepatitis B virus infection model using the homotopy decomposition method (HDM). Additionally, the existence and uniqueness of the fractional model are considered. The graphical solutions depicted that when introducing a fractional-order derivative to the model, the peak of viral propagation is reduced, and cell damage is minimised by initiating treatment at an early stage; however, the disease takes a longer time to be eradicated. The outcomes may also be valuable in the fields of clinical science and medicine. This model provided insights into the natural history of HBV infection, including the different stages of infection (acute, chronic, and resolved) and the likelihood of progression from one stage to another. This information is essential for predicting disease outcomes and planning appropriate clinical management for patients.","PeriodicalId":475946,"journal":{"name":"Applied mathematics in science and engineering","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135926165","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
