And artists have already started to exchange a lot of information about using AI image generators. By comparison, there is a lack of research on AI image generators for architecture. Therefore, to highlight the possibility of an AI image generator based on a text-to-image model for application and utilization in actual architecture, the paper proceeded with the process of testing and evaluating. Method: Based on previous research, the paper outlined a new algorithmic methodology that is divided into a concept extraction phase and an architecturalization phase to generate creative concepts and architectural images. Each process of methodology was subjected to auxiliary experiments to ensure it worked effectively, and numerous image generation experiments were conducted to analyze and generate the result of methodology. Result: It was possible to derive and evaluate meaningful analysis results that can be used for other research and new methodology. And through a feedback loop process that transforms and repeats the entire process, it was possible to create images with creative colors and shapes that can be used in actual architecture. Finally, based on the limitations and possibilities of the current technology level, the paper predicted the future prospects of AI image generators in architecture and suggested the need for related follow-up studies.","PeriodicalId":475694,"journal":{"name":"KIEAE Journal","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135978047","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method: In order to investigate the types and characteristics of integrated maintenance using artificial land on the upper part of the railway, theoretical considerations such as the concept of artificial land and theoretical and legal reviews of integrated development were conducted, and based on this, the overall flow and general characteristics were examined from the 1970s, when the development project using the artificial land on the top of the railway began in earnest, to the present.The analysis was conducted on the Minamiguchi maintenance project at Shinjuku Station, the Daiya Gate in Seibu Ikebukuro Line, and the Ochanomizu Station maintenance project that were completed since the 2000s. Result: Integrated maintenance with the railway is mainly carried out through the artificial land, and it is also used as a method of maximizing the efficiency of the upper part of the artificial land by integrating the railway with the artificial land and the building. In addition, most of the use of the upper part of the artificial land was used as a barrier free public space for the convenience of users or pedestrians, such as a parking lot, a pedestrian space, and a connecting passages.","PeriodicalId":475694,"journal":{"name":"KIEAE Journal","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135978050","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The number of deaths from indoor pollutants has also increased, and interest in indoor pollutants has increased due to the recent COVID-19 virus and fine dust problems. In particular, there is a growing concern about formaldehyde, one of the representative gas pollutants. To overcome the limitations of the mechanical ventilation system, we would like to develop a system that effectively removes formaldehyde from gas-phase pollutants by combining a photocatalytic reactor with a heat transfer exchanger. To this end, we would like to review the performance through experiments in residential studio spaces and contribute to the removal of indoor formaldehyde. Method: This study conducted an experiment to control the concentration of formaldehyde using a heat exchanger combining a photocatalytic reactor to improve indoor air quality. The experiment compared and analyzed the internal circulation mode and photocatalytic mode at three ventilation rates: 0.5ACH, 1.0ACH, and 2.0ACH, and was conducted in an indoor residential studio space. Result: The photocatalytic mode showed significantly better performance than the internal circulation mode in reducing the concentration of formaldehyde. As the number of ventilation increased, photocatalytic modes showed higher formaldehyde concentration reduction rates from 40% to 98%. This has confirmed that the photocatalytic reactor is effective in removing gaseous contaminants.","PeriodicalId":475694,"journal":{"name":"KIEAE Journal","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136036307","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
