The local Government's ecotourism development continues to intensify by involving the surrounding community in Tarumajaya Village. This study focuses on the role of the community around Situ Cisanti in the development of ecotourism to improve the local economy. Using qualitative methods and interviewing some participants, the results of this study found that the community around Situ Cisanti has actively participated in ecotourism development activities. This is evidenced by the high level of community enthusiasm when participating in community role optimization activities organized by the Government and local managers. In addition, in terms of the economic aspect, the community around Situ Cisanti shows an increase. This is demonstrated by the concrete actions of the community who have become economic actors around the Situ Cisanti ecotourism object. The community takes advantage of the existence of tourism in the form of stalls, culinary, coffee, souvenirs and homestays owned by local communities. The most use of ecotourism is in the form of recruitment of casual daily employees, construction workers, shop businesses, coffee businesses, culinary businesses, souvenir businesses, parking businesses and motorcycle taxis. This research contributes mainly to researchers and policy makers about the integration of community participation management in the development of ecotourism in various locations in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":475022,"journal":{"name":"Khazanah Sosial","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135041152","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its developments affect daily life, and also give a new color to the political-security dynamics, especially in Indonesia. This depends on the purpose of using information and communication technology, which if not regulated, will become a double-edged sword. The typology of threats is also increasingly varied and transforming, including in the context of security threats in the form of terrorism which involves many dimensions ranging from religion-based terrorism to cyber-based terrorism. The state's response to cyber terrorism as a new security threat phenomenon is examined in this paper in a balanced way using an inward-looking and outward-looking perspective. By using qualitative research methods and descriptive research types, the existing data related to what has been done by Indonesia are interpreted into the form of a governance conception in the context of countering cyber terrorism. Indonesia has identified domestic conditions to be able to optimize its resources. At the same time, Indonesia is also trying to improve its capabilities by conducting international cooperation. So that the governance of countering cyber terrorism in Indonesia still leaves several problems that need to be resolved, such as institutional barriers including organizational culture which is the key to coordination between institutions related to countering cyber terrorism in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":475022,"journal":{"name":"Khazanah Sosial","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136242664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research method used is quantitative. The object of research is SMEs in the city of Semarang. By using a non-probability sampling technique, namely convenience/accidental sampling, 200 samples were taken from 11,910 MSMEs. Data collection method using a questionnaire with a numerical scale. This research found that competitive advantage can be achieved by adopting market orientation, which involves customer orientation by understanding what customers want and need, competitor orientation by analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of competitors that can be leveraged by the company, and inter-functional coordination to develop strategies based on the gathered information. Marketing capabilities also play a crucial role in shaping competitive advantage. Marketing capabilities can develop and deliver superior value to customers by leveraging existing resources. Competitive advantage, market orientation, and marketing capability play a partial role in enhancing their business performance. Business performance is the goal of every organization. It is considered the core of strategic management, and therefore, most of their efforts are directed towards improving business performance. Companies can pay attention to important factors that can influence business performance. In this study, it was found that by focusing on competitive advantage, market orientation, and marketing capability, companies can enhance their business performance. This article aims to analyze these problems, using a qualitative descriptive method, data sourced from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (2022). We use data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) out of 33 regencies/cities in Sumatera Utara Province, 5 regencies/cities in the Nias Archipelago Area, namely Nias Regency, Nias Selatan Regency, Nias Utara Regency, Nias Barat Regency, and Gunungsitoli City experienced significant imbalances in budget extreme allocations with 28 non-island (mainland) regions and below the provincial average. The lack of social policies will have a significant effect on the implementation of Optional Concurrent Government Affairs in the archipelago; and (2) Conceptually, it is important to pay attention to the principles of accountability, efficiency, externality, and national strategic interests in treating archipelagic areas through increased transfer funds – including the General Allocation Fund (DAU) and the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) - as specifically regulated in Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Local Government. It is hoped that the novelty of this research can become material for evaluating policies of the central and provincial governments. This research can have implications for accelerating development, especially in island areas.","PeriodicalId":475022,"journal":{"name":"Khazanah Sosial","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136370051","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ecotourism is a form of tourism that takes place at tourist objects without damaging or disturbing the sustainability of these tourism objects. Semenanjung Nusaniwe is in Nusaniwe District in Ambon City, has more than 22 tourist objects that have been developed but have not been touched by development. Such conditions require analysis that will guide future developments. This writing is based on the results of research on 225 respondents to visitors to tourist attractions, as well as people who live around tourist attractions. The analysis used is the pattern of estimating the economic value of ecotourism based on the travel cost method (TCM). The determination of the socio-economic factors that affect the cost of travel to the Nusaniwe Peninsula area is tested using the Linear Regression Method. The results of the study show that many tourist objects in Nusaniwe District have been identified, and some have not been identified. This tourism object is always visited by the community and can generate income. The highest consumer surplus value is in the Tanjung Batu Konde Beach Tourist Attraction Object (ODTW), which is IDR. 208,355.00, and the lowest is at Sumber Jaya Beach, namely IDR. 12,545.50. The highest total economic value is in Tanjung Batu Konde, namely IDR. 352,033,800.00, and the lowest is also found at Sumber Jaya Beach, namely IDR. 8,480,758.00. Starting from the results of the calculations above, it can be concluded that if the tourism objects in Nusaniwe Sub district can be well developed, it is certain that each OTDW will be able to contribute to increasing income for the community around the tourist attraction as well as for the Village Government, State Government and even the City Government.","PeriodicalId":475022,"journal":{"name":"Khazanah Sosial","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136370732","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This designation holds potential for reforestation and benefits the ecological interests of the local community and downstream areas. However, despite the implementation of binding policies aimed at preserving the area, it is evident that damage has occurred. This research adopts a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to investigate the reasons behind this phenomenon. The research findings indicate a continuous weakening of social supervision, attributed to changes in community orientation and a lack of courage to protect the environment. The community's involvement in social supervision could be improved, but the weakening government protection exacerbates the situation. Consequently, the neglect persists, and some individuals exploit the situation for their own interests.","PeriodicalId":475022,"journal":{"name":"Khazanah Sosial","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135050665","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The researcher found that there is an effort by the Bali provincial government to provide a legal umbrella to the Customary Village in regulating its citizens and forming awig-awig or village rules respectively as a customary village. But the migrants in Bali who are mostly Muslims in Bali feel this is a form of discrimination. To analyze this problem the author uses qualitative research. Primary data sources are from the Bali Provincial Legal Bureau, from the Village Development Office, Traditional Village administrators, and migrants in Bali. Meanwhile, migrants on the island of Bali, the majority of whom are Muslims, feel that the Adat Village regulation as the embodiment of Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2019 is a discriminatory regional regulation because it provides a legal umbrella for the implementation of fees/collections carried out by Adat Villages in Bali. There is also competition or competition such as in the economic field, migrants or tamiu who live in Bali to try their luck and make a living are considered obstacles for residents. The 2011 bombing incident was also the peak of the conflict because the perpetrators were migrants/tamiu in Bali.
