It showed the effect of the semantic development of the words, whose meaning evolved after they were singular until they entered into the structures of proverbs. The semantic form that the research distinguished is the semantic transition, as it deals with this type of development that is meant by writers, poets, and linguists, its implications and stages of development according to use. The researcher Adopted the descriptive, analytical, and parallel approach, and arranged the proverbs in the alphabetical system. The study was divided into two sections. The first section included a translation of Ibn Duraid, forms of semantic development, and semantic transmission.
