A pre- and post-test control group quasi-experimental design was utilized with a quantitative research framework. The study group consisted of a total of 14 teacher candidates (seven in the experimental group and seven in the control group), who were senior-level undergraduate students taking the “Teaching Practice” course in the pedagogical formation group of the Faculty of Education at Düzce University during the fall semester of the educational year 2019-2020. Data collection was performed using the Attitude Toward the Teaching Profession Scale, Teacher Self-Efficacy Scale, and Math Teaching Anxiety Scale. Non-parametric tests, specifically the Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank tests, were employed for data analysis. The research was carried out using the phenomenology method, one of the qualitative research designs. Seven preschool teachers, each of whom works in schools in different regions of Turkey, were included in the study group, which was determined by the purposeful sampling method, and they did not participate in the training on the subjects that would enable them to know about the concept of well-being. The research data were collected through semi-structured interview form in line with the expert opinions of five faculty members working in preschool education and psychology departments. The descriptive analysis method was used to analyze the collected data. As a result of the findings analyzed by dividing the data into three main sections, which are the definition of well-being, teacher well-being, and child well-being, it was seen that preschool teachers had various knowledge and could comments on the concept of well-being. Also, it was determined that they were unaware of the concept's dimensions and could not handle it with a holistic approach. Erken yaşlarda baba ile çocuk arasında kurulan olumlu iletişim güvenli bağlanmayı da bereberinde getirmektedir. Güvenli bağlanmanın gerçekleşmesi ile çocuğun kendine ve yeteneklerine güven geliştirmesi, olumlu benlik saygısına sahip olması ve zorluklar karşısında güçlü durabilmesinin temelleri atılır. Olumlu düzeyde sosyal duygusal beceriye sahip olan bir çocuğun içinde bulunduğu çevreye ve değişikliklere daha kolay uyum sağlaması beklenmektedir. Bu da beraberinde psikolojik iyi oluş ve dayanıklılığı getirmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı okul öncesi dönem çocukların sosyal duygusal beceri ve psikolojik dayanıklılık düzeyleri ile baba-çocuk iletişimi arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde planlanmış; üç ile yedi yaş arasında çocuğu olan babalar ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler uygun örnekleme yöntemi ile toplanmış olup 46 baba ve çocuğu araştırma kapsamında yer almıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında Sosyal Duygusal Beceriler ve Psikolojik Dayanıklılık Ölçeği ile Baba Çocuk İletişim Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda baba iletişimi ile Sosyal Duygusal Beceriler ve Psikolojik Dayanıklılık Ölçeği duygu bilgisi/ifadesi ve empati alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu saptanmıştır.
