The purpose of this study was to describe the pattern of eating and physical activity patterns in coronary heart disease patients with a history of hypertension. The research method used is descriptive analysis using a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling with a total sample of 130 respondents. The instruments used are Food Frequency Questioinnaire (FFQ) for diet and Global Physical Activity Questioinnaire (GPAQ) for physical activity patterns. The results showed that the picture of the eating pattern in coronary heart disease patients with a history of hypertension was poor diet (53.1%), the description of the pattern of physical activity was the most in the light category (50.0%). CKD patients become dependent on dialysis machines, the threat of job loss, complications and death, so that the patient's life expectancy is low. This affects self - efficacy in healthy behavior and compliance with hemodialysis. This research determines the effect of structured health education with a health belief model approach on self-efficacy in compliance with hemodialysis . The research design used a quasi-experimental pretest and posttest with control group . The number of respondents, 31 patients in the intervention and control groups, were selected using purposive sampling . The instrument used is the chronic kidneys disease self-efficacy (CKD-SE) contains 37 statements. The intervention was given in 4 sessions lasting 60-90 minutes. Stroke, ranking second in global causes of death and third in disability, often leads to anxiety. Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) therapy is a non-pharmacological approach addressing anxiety in stroke patients. This case study aimed to describe the process of nursing care incorporating Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) therapy. This case study focuses on providing anxiety nursing care to a 67-year-old patient with hemorrhagic stroke through SSBM therapy. Conducted from July 6 to July 15, 2023, the study utilized evidence-based nursing principles, employing a 3-day SSBM therapy. Anxiety levels were assessed using the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) questionnaire, revealing anxiety in the patient. Post-SSBM therapy, significant reductions in anxiety scores were observed, showcasing its potential to alleviate anxiety in stroke patients. This research contributes insights into employing SSBM therapy for anxiety mitigation, aiming to enhance nursing services for individuals dealing with stroke-induced anxiety.Keywords: Anxiety, Stroke hemorrhagic, Slow Stroke Back Massage ","PeriodicalId":473295,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Smart Keperawatan","volume":"3 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138944895","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several factors, such as consumption of fast food, parental genetics, and lack of physical activity, can contribute to obesity. This study aims to identify factors associated with the occurrence of obesity in school-aged children. This research is included in the category of analytical observational research with a cross-sectional approach. The population studied was 57 respondents at SDN 1 Tubanusing a stratified random technique. The questionnaire used was a questionnaire on fast food consumption habits and physical activity habits. The results showed that the majority of students' parents, namely 25 respondents (43.9%), suffered from type I diabetes. The Mann Whitney test for fast food consumption produced a p-value of 0.429, while for physical activity it was 0.527. Specifically, a significant association was found between parental genetics and the incidence of obesity, with a p value of 0.010. Thus, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between fast food consumption and physical activity and the incidence of obesity in school-aged children. However, there is a relationship between parental genetics and obesity in this age group.Keywords: Fast Food; Heredity: Obesity; Physical Activity","PeriodicalId":473295,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Smart Keperawatan","volume":"56 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138952573","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
