Son construidas allí donde alguien encuentra la muerte, lejos de su hogar y de la compañía de los suyos, y son asociadas generalmente a decesos trágicos, sangrientos o violentos, tal como sucedió en Santiago de Chile durante la revuelta social con Mauricio Fredes, joven manifestante que falleció en el centro de la capital debido a la represión policial. La animita de Mauricio Fredes fue construida y experimentó un rápido crecimiento gracias a cientos de personas que llegaron día a día a saludar, cantar, entregar algún objeto o alimento, o solo a observar silenciosa y contemplativamente. A partir de la animita de Mauricio Fredes, nos preguntamos si estos cenotafios populares son meras imágenes mortuorias destinadas a demarcar el sitio de la muerte de una persona o si, más bien, estas son experimentadas —por sus hacedores y practicantes— como un cuerpo vivo y presente. After belonging to a context where Hinduism is predominant, their religious practice becomes a minority when they migrate to Mexico. This situation identifies the negotiations between materiality and its relationship with spirituality on the part of believers themselves, since, without the intervention of a religious authority and in the absence of traditional temples in the place of arrival, families recreate the rituals at home. Las reflexiones se ilustran en dos casos diferentes del amplio espectro pentecostal peruano: Monte de Oración, una iglesia independiente, empresa familiar ubicada en un barrio marginal limeño, y el Movimiento Misionero Mundial, una megaiglesia transnacional de origen portorriqueño y de pretensiones panperuanas. El abordaje de la religión vivida permite adentrarse en una cosmovisión encantada fuera de la lógica de separación en esferas y, por lo tanto, posibilita adaptar la teoría del mercado religioso a un entorno que sigue funcionando de manera tradicional como empresa familiar o hacienda, a pesar de algunas características de mercado globalizado. Abstract | The purpose of this article is to analyze how the daughters of Moroccan families living in Catalonia re-signify their identity as young Muslim and Catalan women, by presenting their own (re)construction of Muslimness. This is the result of the tendency to identify “Muslim” people and “the Muslim” as a paradigm of “the irreducible,” sustaining monolithic and static discourses and social representations that result in more deeply rooted forms of discrimination and exclusion in Europe. The methodological design of the research is based on a qualitative approach that, through life stories, makes it possible to identify the subjective meanings of social practices and lived experiences. The starting point was a sample of young —so called “second generation”— women (born in Catalonia or arrived before the age of twelve); daughters of Moroccan parents, with associative experiences and who are or have been in higher education, in order to show the specificity of the role played by educational levels in the configuration of religious identity. The results show the strategies developed by the young women to manage the tensions within their families and communities, resulting from living in a context where Islam is a minority, which presents challenges and dilemmas when it comes to redefining their religiosity and identity as Muslim women. Indeed, this suggests that the second generation do not follow a linear model of cultural assimilation. Instead, they reinforce their self-image as “bearers” of a transformed religiosity that they construct in their daily lives. Estas emergen del despliegue institucional de paradigmas de desarrollo y construcción de paz, por lo menos desde 1982, con la creación del Plan Nacional de Rehabilitación (PNR), la Red de Solidaridad Social (RSS) en 1994, la Agencia Presidencial de Acción Social y Cooperación Internacional en 2002 y el Departamento de Prosperidad Social (DPS) en 2011.
