Therefore, the effectiveness of lymphatic drainage of the or gan plays an important role in maintaining homeostasis of the whole organism. The aim of the study was to identify structural changes in the lymphatic drainage of the liver during the development of ex perimental hepatocacinoma-29 in the muscle tissue of the thigh of CBA mice. Using the methods of light, electron microscopy and im -munohistochemistry, we studied the structure of various parts of the lymphatic drainage of the liver under conditions of the development of hepatocarcinoma -29 in the muscle tissue of the thigh of CBA an -imals. It was revealed that under conditions of distant tumor growth, structural changes develop in the liver: a decrease in the volume and numerical density of hepatocytes, an increase in the volume density of sinusoidal spaces, an increase in the size of liver prelim fatigue Disse’s space, swelling of sinusoidal endothelial cells, an increase in the lumens of the lymphatic vessels of portal tracts. Observed structural changes in various parts of the lymphatic drainage of the liver under conditions of remote tumor growth indicate an increase in lymphatic processes associated with the presence of toxic metabo lites in the blood.","PeriodicalId":448768,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Industrial Biotechnology","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130659771","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, in search of biocompatible and low toxic alternative surfactant, bacterial biosurfactant are attracting more attention towards manufacturing of industrial product. In the present study biosurfactant extracted from Pseudomonas sp . was used in the designed formulation of toothpaste. The efficacy of developed biosurfactant based toothpaste was analyzed through comparative study with commercial toothpaste. The analyzed in-volves qualitative test like abrasiveness test, spreadability test, determination of bacterial load, cleaning test, removal of yellowness of the teeth and toxicity analysis. The results indicate that biosurfactant based toothpaste formulation are efficient and less toxic. Hence, biosurfactant based toothpaste could open a new vista to cosmetic industries with safe product.","PeriodicalId":448768,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Industrial Biotechnology","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125255334","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The inherent change from fossilto bio-based feedstock is fundamental, requiring large additional biomass capacities for industrial purposes especially in industrialized metropolitan regions. However, planetary boundaries set limits and even biomass comes with an ecological burden. The industrial use of biomass should therefore primarily focus on organic chemistry as this sector depends on carbon. Adding the feedstock demand of bio-based chemistry and some biofuel and bioenergy to the current biomass production capacities requires the expansion of the feedstock portfolio beyond primary biomass and the improvement of feedstock efficiency. Municipal and industrial residuals and waste materials are available and will gain importance but need to be standardized according to industrial specifications. Promising candidates for such future bio-based starting materials are CO, methane, and methanol. Alternatively, methane and methanol are available from technical carbon recycling fueled by surplus renewable energy. This article discusses how to sustainably implement the bioeconomy in a densely populated and industrialized country by the example of Germany.","PeriodicalId":448768,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Industrial Biotechnology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128834818","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, because of its high fiber content, DDGS is limited in monogastric livestock (i.e., swine and poultry) and aquaculture diets. This causes low inclusion rates and reduced economic value of DDGS for these species. But there is possibility of breaking down the fibers using commercial enzymes. But the high cost associated with the use of commercial enzymes is a challenge with the industrial application of enzymes in feed application. Pretreatment (physical, chemical, and/ or biological) of high fiber containing feedstocks and/or lignocellulosic feedstocks prior to enzymatic saccharification can improve the overall fiber digestibility. Therefore, ranges of commercial enzymes were tested in this study. It was found the commercial enzyme that performed well at low enzyme dosages was Viscozyme L. The effectiveness of the Viscozyme L was significantly high (~280% increase in sugar recovery as compared to the untreated DDGS) when supplemented with the dilute acid pretreated DDGS as compared to the untreated DDGS. While acid hydrolysis processes are effective, their corresponding capital and operating costs can become prohibitively expensive due to the acids used, formation of degradation products from the C5 sugars, and the down-stream processing requiring neutralization. Dicarboxylic acids (DCAs) for the hydrolysis of C5 sugars can decrease these processing costs by lowering neutralization costs, avoiding the use of expensive/specialized metal reactors, potentially recovering and recycling the DCAs, and increasing C5 sugar yields while also decreasing the formation of degradation products. In an effort to validate the benefits of DCA over strong mineral acids, a selected set of Dicarboxylic acids (DCA) was evaluated in the preferential selective hydrolysis of hemicelluloses from a hemicellulose-rich biomass source, Dried Distillers Grains (DDG). The relationship between acid pKa, xylose, and degradation products was explored. In parallel, we also investigated the use of para-toluene-sulfonic acid (PTSA) that has a structure similar to the sulfuric acid, but has a toluene group instead of a second acid proton. Time versus concentration of xylose and furfural data was obtained using each of these acids. Among the acids tested, oxalic acid and PTSA produced the greatest amount of free xylose (13.7 g/l, 12.4 g/l respectively) after H2SO4 (18.8 g/l), and both produced less furfural (0.34 g/l, 0.38 g/l respectively) than H2SO4 (0.97 g/l). Comparing the Combined Severity Factors (CSF) of the acids evaluated led to the conclusion that among the DCAs explored in the present work, oxalic acid produces a C5 rich hydrolyzate comparable to the sulfuric acid and with minimal xylose degradation products.","PeriodicalId":448768,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Industrial Biotechnology","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129669551","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
