Feature selection studies using batch learning methods are inefficient when handling big data in real world, especially when data arrives sequentially. Online Feature Selection is a new paradigm which is more efficient than batch feature selection methods but it still very challenging in large-scale ultra-high dimensional sparse domains. In this paper, we propose a framework of online feature selection for binary classification exploiting first-order and second-order information. This framework is designed to assume an efficient and scalable online feature selection process. In the experimental studies, we adopt first-order and second-order online learning based online feature selection methods FOOL-OFS and SOOL-OFS. We conduct extensive experiments to evaluate the learning accuracy and time cost of different algorithms on several benchmarks and some real-world datasets.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126118024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A variety of such datasets exists in English language. However, it is rare or nonexistent for the Arabic language except for a recent LABR dataset, which consists of a little bit over 63,000 book reviews extracted from. Goodreads. com. We introduce BRAD 1.0, the largest Book Reviews in Arabic Dataset for sentiment analysis and machine language applications. BRAD comprises of almost 510,600 book records. Each record corresponds for a single review and has the review in Arabic language and the reviewer's rating on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. In this paper, we present and describe the properties of BRAD. Further, we provide two versions of BRAD: the complete unbalanced dataset and the balanced version of BRAD. Finally, we implement four sentiment analysis classifiers based on this dataset and report our findings. When training and testing the classifiers on BRAD as opposed to LABR, an improvement rate growth of 46% is reported. The highest accuracy attained is 91%. Our core contribution is to make this benchmark-dataset available and accessible to the research community on Arabic language.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129409979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In such systems, used software applications must be strong enough to answer run-time needs. Context-aware applications seem to be an appropriate solution that can satisfy adaptation to the continuous changes. Safe reconfigurations require the respect of tasks deadlines and the avoidance of blocking. However, existing solutions are still insufficient and lack many important services. In this paper, we propose a new context-aware framework for developing control applications in dynamically changing environment. We focus on respecting real-time as well as functional constraints. The proposed framework structure provides simple reconfiguration handling and boosts the awareness of applications. This paper describes the definition of the proposed framework and its design. To prove the validation of the new approach, we have performed a case study and simulations.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121023734","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, these factors have increased the demands to adopt the mobile ERP as a working model in enterprises. Regardless of these demands, mobile ERP has several challenges and issues that need to be addressed through a problem the design science research paradigm, since this paradigm is considered a problem-solving paradigm and it has its roots in engineering and the sciences of the artificial. Accordingly, this paper aims to propose a model for selecting an appropriate ERP system within the mobile ERP's design science research domain. The proposed model was applied to a set of ERP systems that are provided by the dominant ERP vendors. In addition, an integrated overview of the selected ERP system for the proposed use case will be presented in this paper.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126647099","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed approach exploits the disparity map already computed at the preceding frame to improve the matching results at the current one. An edge association method is used to track the edge curves over time. Local disparity constraints are computed for all the edge points that belong to the tracked edge curves. For the rest of edge points, we use a global disparity constraint, which is computed for each image line based on the preceding v-disparity. We integrate these constraints in the dynamic programming algorithm, which increases the matching results and speeds up the matching process.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126657643","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, these promising services, raise the issue of security and reliability in terms of data confidentiality, control and loss of intellectual property. In this work, we exploit the characteristics of multi agent systems to deliver an optimal and secure solution for data storage and exploration in the Cloud. Our solution is based on an encryption process before storage, while an intelligent multi agent system was designed and simulated to optimize the exploration of the data in a Cloud environment. Our architecture aims to use adaptive agents able to predict alerts, make decisions and block any intrusion.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127118606","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Adaptive software development has been an emerging research area of software engineering in the last decade. Many existing approaches use techniques issued from software product line to develop adaptive software. They use models to specify variability and architecture of a product family and generate product architecture. These models are also used in a generation process to deduce reconfiguration actions carried out at runtime. However, the replacement of components by another ones at runtime remains a complex task since it must ensure the validity of new version, in addition to preserving the correct completion of ongoing activities. In this paper, we propose an approach to specify the necessary information at design time for identifying the best moment to reconfigure the system. Moreover, we define an adaptation mechanism to take this information and realize a consistent dynamic adaptation to guarantee the system consistency.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"135 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124213858","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many of these sources should be used during the development of tourism information systems. That is why, it is very important to create a referential model that represents the medical tourism in Tunisia. The e-tourism ontology provides a way to achieve integration and interoperability through the use of shared vocabulary and meanings for terms with respect to other terms. In this paper, we will create an ontology as a very expressive hierarchy of categories, populating with information from Tunisian medical tourism providers' services that represent all concepts and relations of the medical tourism in Tunisia. This ontology will be integrated in a trust based recommender system to deal with the lack of semantic information in personalized recommendation in tourism domain.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126347240","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, scenario development poses a challenging problem since it is an expensive task, only devoted to computer specialists (game developers, programmers…). The ultimate goal of our work is to propose a new scenario-building approach capable of ensuring a high degree of deployment and reusability. Thus, we will define in this paper a new generation mechanism. This mechanism is built upon a model driven architecture (MDA). We have started up by enriching the existing standards, which resulted in defining a new generic meta-model (CIM). The resulting meta-model is capable of describing and standardizing game scenarios. Then, we have laid down a new transformational mechanism in order to integrate the indexed game components into operational platforms (PSM). Finally, the effectiveness of our strategy was assessed under two separate contexts (target platforms) : the claroline-connect platform and the unity 3D environment.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121534422","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This feature has achieved significant coding gain compared to coding a macroblock (MB) using fixed block size. However, this feature results in extremely high computational complexity when brute force rate distortion optimization (RDO) algorithm is used. In this paper, we propose an Efficient Intra Block Size Decision for H.264/AVC Encoding Optimization. It makes use of the spatial homogeneity characteristics of the macroblock. Specifically, spatial homogeneity of a MB is decided based on the amplitude value of the proposed MB vector. Based on the homogeneity of the macroblock, only a small number of intra prediction modes are selected in the RDO process. Different video sequences are used to test the performance of proposed method. Experimental results reveal the significant computational savings achieved with slight Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) degradation and bit-rate increase.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132795655","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
