However, most of existing approaches consist on transforming the problem into a classical problem of community detection in monoplex network. In this work, we propose a new hybrid community detection approach in multilayer social networks. This approach considers simultaneously the network structure (different social connections) and the homophily of participants (similarities between users). To do so we propose a new multiplex information graph model to represent multilayer social network. Then, we adapt a combined community detection algorithm to the multiplex case. Furthermore, an example in the field of scientific collaboration recommendation is given to illustrate the practical usefulness of the proposed approach. Finally, a comparison with other community detection approaches evaluates its performance.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114703072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is concerned with identifying the sentiment conveyed in a piece of text. The current efforts in SA require the existence of standard datasets for training/testing purposes. Such datasets already exist for some languages such as English. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about other languages such as Arabic. Currently existing Arabic SA datasets are restricted (in their domain, size, dialects covered, etc.) and/or have limited availability. Moreover, the annotation process did not receive the proper attention it deserves. Some of the existing datasets relied on the author's point of view for annotation, while others employed annotators, but did not take into account the personal variations between the annotators and how would that affect their agreement. This study presents our efforts to build a standard Arabic dataset with the above concerns in mind. The constructed dataset is intended for generic use as it contains reviews from different domains written in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) as well as several dialects. As for the annotation process, it is given high attention by studying the inter-annotator agreements and investigating the potential factors affecting them.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128119167","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This documentary information constitutes an interesting source for the decision-making analysis. Therefore, it is essential to provide decision-makers with efficient tools to analyze the textual data enclosed in documents. In this paper, first we present a generic multidimensional model called “CobWeb”, which extends the multidimensional galaxy. CobWeb is dedicated to the OLAP (OnLine Analytical Processing) of XML documents, and based on the concept of facet. It aims to provide decision-makers with facilities in expressing their analytical queries along with an appropriate vision of the data. Secondly, we introduce our software prototype called MQF (Multidimensional Query based on Facets) for querying the CobWeb multidimensional document warehouse. Query results are displayed as multidimensional tables, and as a cloud of tags.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122245170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This line was used as a key data, especially, for geo-localization and aerial robotic applications. The particular shape and the geometric features of a skyline may be the identity of the landscape itself. The skyline, once well extracted, could show the silhouette of a famous tower, the mountain peaks, or the landscape topography. In this paper, we proposed a geometric description of the extracted skyline from landscapes. Based on some geometric descriptors, we tried to pick up practical measurements for each skyline. The first proposed approach was the straight lines' classification to differentiate between urban and natural landscapes from their horizon line. The second one is the curvature analysis using a Curvature Scale Space descriptor. This descriptor was used to enhance the first one and to distinguish between natural part and buildings in the same skyline. The results obtained from these geometric description tools were very competitive and they will be the inputs for a classification process.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134401703","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In general, the applications in which the WSN is deployed need that this network presents a minimal degree of reliability, effectiveness and robustness. However, the specificity of the nodes deployed in this type of networks makes them prone to failures. In this paper, we discuss the recovery from simultaneous failures for a large scale WSN in a multichannel context. Indeed, we propose a deployment scenario which uses thousands of sensor nodes and relay nodes. Then, we propose Simultaneous Failure Recovery based on Relay Node Relocation (SFR-RNR) approach which aims to recover from simultaneous failures. These failures lead to the damage of a whole segment of the WSN, and hence, the loss of the monitored field coverage and/or connectivity. SFR-RNR rearranges a minimal set of relay nodes to restore, partially, the coverage and improve or restore the connectivity; then it reallocates the channels to minimize the interferences. The performance of the proposed approach is evaluated by simulation.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134303450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The provided recommendations are extracted generally from a huge amount of data collected from several sources of information. Thus a recommendation system requires firstly a pre-treatment step to prepare the data and secondly the application of some techniques such as data mining techniques to handle and extract the knowledge to be recommended to the user from the data. Our contribution consists on proposing a Recommendation System for Software Engineering (RSSE). This system recommends UML classes in the design phase of UML classes diagrams. Our RSSE is composed by two main phases: an off-line phase in which we use a clustering algorithm to partition UML classes collected from several UML classes diagrams based on the semantic relations existing between their characteristics. We have defined a metric that measures the similarity between UML classes. The second is an online phase in which we use the obtained clusters of UML classes to propose suggestions to the user based on elements added to his UML classes diagram under construction. The proposed system is then experimentally evaluated by using a UML classes corpus collected from several UML classes diagrams. The experimental evaluation shows very encouraging ratio of useful recommendations.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131403456","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The realization of the meta-model is based on the principle of semantic enrichment and metadata, considered as a flattened and extended relational database, migration starts with the migration of the relational physical schema to the target physical schema, next migrate the data from the relational database to the new database using the new physical schema. While reviewing some technology by proposing a comparative study, also making an overview of some approach of migration of different technologies, approaches and steps. Its adoption relies on the settling down of robust security solutions, especially key management ones. In this paper, we address key management protocols in the Internet of things (IoT). Since the IoT interconnects heterogeneous nodes, key management protocols used in the Internet might not be adapted for this type of networks and lightweight protocols are needed for constrained nodes. Thus, it is prime to design a key management solution that takes into account resources constrained nodes and exploits the heterogeneity of objects to help in key computation. We investigate a variety of key management protocols proposed for the IoT. We analyse the advantages and disadvantages of each protocol and give a performance comparison in terms of key management requirements.","PeriodicalId":448329,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE/ACS 13th International Conference of Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124343450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides, nowadays there are not many available tools to support health professionals towards dyslexia diagnosis. This paper presents an application developed for mobile devices, through which dyslexic users can practice their reading skills, turning the treatment accessible as well as helping health professionals as an auxiliary tool to diagnose their patients. This tool can be applied to support dyslexia diagnosis and to help people already diagnosed with this disorder training reading.
