Verbal prefixes and Aktionsarten are discussed in detail for Bosnian and, to a limited extent, for Bulgarian. It analyses why turkisms developed the gender and number that they did, since Turkish does not have gender as a category. It also discusses non-productive and productive Turkish suffixes in Bosnian and Bulgarian, Slavonic suffixes with turkisms, and pleonasm.","PeriodicalId":447594,"journal":{"name":"Turkisms in South Slavonic Literature","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121075748","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
