This new prototype has significant improvements compared to the previous leg used in the Szabad(ka) II robot. The design is based on a differential gear drive system. Most of the parts were created using modern 3D printing technology. A triple spring-damper system has further improved the functionality of the leg. A new, self-designed motor driver ensures appropriate control and sensor sampling at the expected frequencies. The next step of the research will be to carry out the structural optimization of the robot based on the new leg design. The optimization will determine the connection positions and the dimensions of the body and legs as well as the parameters of the triple spring damper system.","PeriodicalId":447087,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123283469","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim is to determine the number and locations of overhaul facilities and to minimize the weighted distance between potential clients and overhaul facilities. The solutions are compared by combining the following requirements: all clients need to be fully serviced; the capacity of overhaul facilities must not be exceeded; each overhaul facility must provide at least minimum working capacity (75%); partial servicing is allowed (clients from the same node can be serviced by more than one overhaul facility). It is assumed that all overhaul facilities have the same equipment and that the servicing needs are known. The experiments have shown that the solutions of the models are provided in less time using mixed-integer programming in comparison to integer programming.","PeriodicalId":447087,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"10 3-5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133203986","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the spring of 2020, practically the whole world worked from home offices. Now digital adaptation is the challenge for many people and orgaization. This situation poses challenges for the cybersecurity world. At the time of writing this article, there is no exact data yet on what cybersecurity incidents have occurred or how much damage they have caused. Nevertheless, it is certain that in the pandemic chaos, many corporates made mistakes during their digital adaptation processes. To a considerable extent, these mistakes are due to humans. Even though there are outstanding technological solutions or regulations at a company, if this riskfactor is not appropriately managed, then the other two are worthless. Despite the need, there is no widespread human risk anylisys method in cybersecurity, because it is difficult to measure, and covered in obscurity. In this paper, the authors propose a fuzzy model to organizations whereby they can measure this risk if they have sufficient information about the workforce. The model will be easier understood if presented through a specific threat, the digital leakage of classified information from a critical infrastructure.","PeriodicalId":447087,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116904222","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Advancement in technology has made it easy to train models or use ones that have been already created to detect several features of the human face. When it comes to identifying a human face from the side, there are many opportunities to advance the biometric identification research further. This paper investigates the human face identification based on their side profile by extracting the facial features and diagnosing the feature sets with geometric ratio expressions. These geometric ratio expressions are computed into feature vectors. The last stage involves the use of weighted means to measure similarity. This research addresses the problem of using an eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) approach. Findings from this research, based on a small data-set, conclude that the used approach offers encouraging results. Further investigation could have a significant impact on how face profiles can be identified. Performance of the proposed system is validated using metrics such as Precision, False Acceptance Rate, False Rejection Rate and True Positive Rate. Multiple simulations indicate an Equal Error Rate of 0.89.","PeriodicalId":447087,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131292792","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Liquid handler robots have been present in these facilities for a long time. New technologies and approaches, such as individual in-house solutions utilizing low-cost hardware and open-source software to implement Internet-of-Things concepts, are opening up new possibilities in extending functionality flexibly. In this paper, a concept is presented for the detection of potential gripping failures in a liquid handler robot with an infrared break beam sensor. During the problematic step, the robot has to pick up an object from a container rack, while the rack should stay at its original position. In the error scenario, the rack gets stuck to the first object in a position in a way, that its presence can be detected by the sensor after moving the arm to a specified position. As an interface between the robot’s control system and the sensor, an Arduino microcontroller was used, for which a client application was developed. This application can be executed from a liquid handling script and it communicates with the microcontroller through a serial port. The resulting extension provides an automated solution for a checking step that previously required the process to stop and a human to visually inspect the robot.","PeriodicalId":447087,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114419757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The elastic properties of the bone allow it to take over certain static or dynamic loads, mainly compression and bending, and the viscous properties allow it to dampen dynamic loads. The Vibro Acoustics Method (VAM), based on the analysis of signals recorded through a microphone, allows the measurement of the effective elastic modulus and the effective mechanical damping constant of an anisotropic material in the resonant spectrum given by the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) or using the Prony Series Method (PSM). This paper demonstrates that VAM is suitable for accurate measurement of the equivalent anisotropic elasticity of a bone and can also provide accurate information about equivalent viscous bone damping.","PeriodicalId":447087,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127283371","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to prolong the life of these materials, an anti-corrosion protection is made. The most commonly used processes for this are thermal galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. The galvanized coating offers the treated surfaces a series of physical, chemical or appearance qualities. The thickness of the layer determines the required amount of zinc and is an important component in the total cost of the product. At the same time, the thickness of the layer offers a longer life to surfaces subject to physical wear. In this paper a method based on the excitation of samples by mechanical impulse and the recording of vibration signals with the help of a laser vibrometer is developed and validated. It is a nondestructive and noncontact method. Based on the analysis of the bending vibrations of a sample, before and after coating with zinc, using the Bernoulli equation, a ratio of natural frequencies is determined as a function of the elasticity modules of the two materials, their densities and their geometric dimensions. By measuring the natural frequencies of the samples in such a ratio, the thickness of the zinc layer can be determined. The measurement of natural frequencies is based on Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis of vibration signals obtained by mechanical impulse excitation of samples, before and after galvanizing.","PeriodicalId":447087,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132685372","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
