Both currents on a car body and their radiation were calculated using the electromagnetic simulator Zeland IE3D. Two simplified models of the antenna system based on replacing antenna wires by an unsymmetrical V-dipole and their mirror images were created for technical applications as well. Radiation patterns obtained for those models were compared to Zeland simulations.","PeriodicalId":446406,"journal":{"name":"2007 17th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133840722","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In contrast to the existing FFT-based technique the presented one is based on a repeated application of one-dimensional partial Laplace transform inversions. The method promises a generalization towards multidimensional numerical inverse Laplace transforms because it establishes more effective unified algorithmic approach to a computation. The method was programmed using Matlab language and analyzed as for its accuracy.","PeriodicalId":446406,"journal":{"name":"2007 17th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125911214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The discussed weak points of SPICE-like and SPICE-compatible simulation programs consist in the absence of finding effectively the steady-state, in an inefficient integration algorithm for the transient analysis of switching phenomena, and in the absence of a direct AC analysis of switched circuits. The paper also describes some new approaches, which could be helpful in overcoming the above limitations.","PeriodicalId":446406,"journal":{"name":"2007 17th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128743047","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The coupling is established by means of two electric probes extending into the coaxial line interior. The two coupled signals interfere in an external coplanar waveguide interconnecting the probe outputs. The coupling factor can be set in a wide range by the probe lengths. The directivity exceeds 25 dB in the range 2450+25 MHz. The structure is suitable for constructing a dual directional coupler/detector.","PeriodicalId":446406,"journal":{"name":"2007 17th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128972661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The first major part of this paper is on the theoretical power spectrum and the amplitude modulation depth analysis of such modulated signals, where we restrict ourselves to a weak angle modulation. Then a technique for proper AM depth calculation is discussed in respect of random properties of measured signal. Finally, the modified way of amplitude modulation depth measurement in the frequency domain is briefly introduced and a special attention is given to variety of amplitude modulation depth calculation methods. The reviews of results based on \"classic \" AM depth measurement and on proposed method and calculations are also presented and, in particular, some pitfalls to avoid during measurement and calculation are covered.","PeriodicalId":446406,"journal":{"name":"2007 17th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123707528","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main goal of the paper is to simplify and clarify signals analysis task by introducing a system of signals characteristics and their mutual relations. The conception of the system is based on the fact that the structure of navigation signals is partially given since the signals should ensure reliable pseudorange estimations. The proposed conception is then applied on the tiered code construction employed in Galileo system. Finally it is shown that the results of the tiered code analysis can be used in case of the power spectra estimation of BOC modulated signals.","PeriodicalId":446406,"journal":{"name":"2007 17th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132040487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
