Thismakes plants to occupy importance in traditional medicine. The phytochemical analysis revealed thepresence of metabolites such as saponin, flavonoid, alkaloid, carbohydrate, glycoside, tannin and oilphenolic compound responsible for the antibacterial activity of these plants. Diffusion and dilutionmethods have been, employed to study the comparative antimicrobial activities of extracts of plantsNeem (Azadirachta indica) Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) and Aloe vera. The extracts of these plants understudy, were used against bacteria isolated from the semi-arid soil in Banasthali region, the strainsidentified are Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas fluorescence, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus cereus and Staphylococcusaureus. Azadirachta indica showed maximum inhibition against S.aureus, whereas Ocimum sanctumshowed maximum zone against E.coli and Aloe vera against Pseudomonas fluroscens. The aqueousextracts of various leaves were investigated individually for antimicrobial activity against thesepathogens and showed less inhibitory activity against most of the test bacterial pathogens.","PeriodicalId":443629,"journal":{"name":"THE SCIENTIFIC TEMPER","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123049464","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A newfoliar disease for the incidence of Acremonium roseogriseum, an endophyic fungus was observed. Thepathogen was identified from IARI, NewDelhi. Disease incidence appears in the month of Octoberand continues up to January. Disease symptoms are characterized by the presence of off white to ashcoloured felty mat on the ventral surface of leaves. The disease is severely affected all rulingmulberry cultivars ( viz, S1 and S1635) in Aizwal (Mizoram). Athorough investigation was carried out to gather information on ayurveda, homoeopathic,unani, yoga, and other therapies. It is a metabolic dysfunction disease of the endocrine systemthat affects over 10% of the world’s population, with the number of those affected growingby the day. The scientific and family names, plant parts and test model employed, degree ofhypoglycemic activity, and active chemical compounds are all available in the profiles. Allbioactive treatments have been demonstrated to be beneficial in the treatment of diabeticcomplications and in lowering blood glucose levels in diabetics with DBT-1. Natural oraltreatment also significantly lowered glucose levels and insulin requirements in diabetic-1patients, but more clinical research is needed to determine the exact mechanism.","PeriodicalId":443629,"journal":{"name":"THE SCIENTIFIC TEMPER","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126127002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
