This phenomenological study, conducted among accredited music therapists in Canada, examined the impact religious faith has on their clinical practice. G.A. Studdert Kennedy, a well-known British Chaplain who served in the First World War. Studdert Kennedy did not benefit from contemporary insights on Moral Injury but intuitively followed a path toward healing that involved reflection, confession, penance and post-traumatic growth. This article describes the EBP model and its application. The project resulted in increased nurse awareness of the chaplain's role, nurses' confidence in using chaplain services, and nurses' well-being. The domain is presented as the process of \"responding to life itself\". A corresponding goal of chaplaincy is considered in the context of \"existential well-being\".
