In that regard, this contribution reviews the advancement of the standard PMSs used globally: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This research will further identify the BS that has a record of effective performance throughout their operations. With reference from the experiences in benchmarking, we have presented a literature review of KPIs and evaluated inputs to confirm that KPIs are a standardized approach used to compare and identify the performances of best practices for BS participation. The practical experience with the systems haspotentially identified various critical issues in collecting comparable and consistent data. Dealing with these issues, giving the comparable information and undertaking essential study to comprehend and point out the basis for effective performance is considered a process which provides lessons for considerable benchmarking practices. This paper further evaluates the rules of the benchmarking processes, the PMSs of the BS, the overall challenges faced when collecting data andlastly, the findings of the benchmarking practice.","PeriodicalId":443486,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Sustainable Machines","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131168260","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The conventional traction motor drives have been observed experimentally that there is a presence of speed deviation and torque ripples. Therefore, it becomes much essential to verify the control performance of the system by including its non- linear characteristics. To overcome the disadvantages mentioned above, the parameters of an induction motor which is most efficient will be estimated. The induction motor is dynamically modelled using this estimated parameter. So the proposed system focuses on improving the performance of traction motor drive by implementing the multilevel inverter fed sensor less induction motor using modified model reference adaptive system and compared with conventional model reference system based voltage source inverter. The simulation and hardware results will be realized for proposed system and compared with conventional system.","PeriodicalId":443486,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Sustainable Machines","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115174725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Additionally, Friction Stirs welding is the joining process that is being utilized in these businesses as it is a strong state joining process. A friction stir welding is widely used in automobile and aerospace sectors for smooth finishing and strength of materials, there is still scoped to take up further research in this area. In this paper, it is discussed the improvement method of friction stir welded magnesium alloy plates.","PeriodicalId":443486,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Sustainable Machines","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116465328","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most of the gears used in practical application today are not chamfered. This due to the high cost involved in the chamfering process. To reduce the chamfering cost, we have designed a novel simple machine and fabricated. In this work, modelling, design calculation of the chamfering machine and the working of the machine is explained. Introducing chamfering in gear tooth helps to avoid the noise, breakage of gear tooth and to increase the gear tooth. The fabricated machine was tested and found working satisfactorily.","PeriodicalId":443486,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Sustainable Machines","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126801476","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent studies reportable the necessary correlations between pollution and bound diseases as well as an asthma attack, breath distortion, inflammatory disease, chest pain, nausea, respiratory disorder and carcinoma, acute health effects embody eye irritation, headache. The globe Health Organization (WHO) states that two.4 million individuals die yearly from causes directly thanks to pollution. The target of this study is concentrated on the emission analysis completely different ratios of two fuels: LPG (propane) and gasoline (petrol) under different loadings. The elements employed in the analysis contains 4stroke, spark ignition LOMBARDINI LGA 226, Gas parse unit (Techno test (T156/D3)), Gas Flow Meter that measures the LPG. The fuels, gasoline in a liter (liters) and LPG in a liter (liters) also were used to assess their impacts on the exhaust gas emission released. The results are unconcealed that particle number concentration, carbon monoxide (CO) increased because the engine loading will increase in gasoline (fuel). Using LPG, the carbon monoxide (CO) concentration level was a less, significant reduction in exhaust emissions, however the high temperature in the environment than fuel (gasoline) on engine loading. The engine, powered by LPG fuel, showed improved engine performance in many aspects including overall efficiency, fuel economy and emission characteristics that are much lower than gasoline fuel.","PeriodicalId":443486,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Sustainable Machines","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115027965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
