Researches and inventions that have shaped this situation have followed one another. Throughout history, the methods used to obtain location information have improved day by day, and the possibilities of obtaining precise location information faster with more ergonomic devices have emerged. Recently, the Network-RTK measurement method has attracted attention in this respect. \u0000In this study, a research on "Comparison of Classical-RTK and Network-RTK surveying methods in Coastal Regions" was conducted. For this purpose, 12 point locations were determined by creating two separate study areas in two different regions with an approximate surface area of 3.078 km2 and 1.346 km2 in the coastal region. When a base was created between TUSAGA-Active points, N4, N5, N6, IN1, IN2, IN3 points were located in the inner part of the network structure and N1, N2, N3, DN1, DN2, DN3 points were located in the outer part. Static, Classical-RTK and Network-RTK measurement methods were used at 12 points in the study areas in both regions. First of all, static measurements were made at 12 points and these measurement values were accepted as exact measurement values and the Classical-RTK measurement method was made according to these measurement values. The differences of the static measurement values and the measurement values obtained by Classical-RTK and Network-RTK measurement methods were taken respectively. These measurement differences were analyzed and compared in various aspects.

In this study, the petrological and geochemical characteristics of the Bulumya ignimbrite, Detse ignimbrite and Sadıklar ignimbrite observed in the region were revealed. The study area is basically Upper Miocene - Lower Pliocene aged Güneydere formation and overlying Bulumya ignimbrite, Detse ignimbrite, Sadıklar ignimbrite and Quaternary alluviums. All these units were formed in the Upper Miocene - Lower Pliocene aged fluvial and lake environment and have a lateral vertical transition with carbonate, clastic units. The gray colored Bulumya ignimbrite contains andesite-dacite rock fragments and large pumice grains. The Detse Ignimbrite is yellow in color and shows a well sorted lapilli tuff composition. The Sadıklar Ignimbrite, on the other hand, contains agglomeratic levels with yellow colored slightly fused lenses and wedge geometry. All ignimbrite samples have porphyric texture and were classified as “crystal-vitric tuff” and “crystal lithic-vitric tuff” in the glass-crystal-rock fragment classification. In petrographic investigations of ignimbrites, general mineral paragenesis consists of quartz, plagioclase, plagioclase microliths, biotite, amphibole, opaque minerals and rock fragments. When geochemical data are evaluated, it is observed that all ignimbrite samples are subalkaline, trachy-andesite, andesite-basaltic andesite and calc-alkaline in character. When the main oxide, trace and rare earth elements are evaluated, fractional crystallization is observed in ignimbrites mainly controlled by K-feldspar and plagioclase minerals. In addition, the high K and Rb content in the spider diagrams indicate crustal contamination. The distribution of the ignimbrite samples in the Rb/Y-Nb/Y diagram suggests that the magma source forming the samples is enriched by subduction and/or crustal components.

Using the sales data from 125 parcels in the study area, the market value of the immovables for which the value is unknown in the region, was estimated. The most frequently used criteria in the assessment of agricultural lands were determined, and the valuation was carried out with Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). By means of the assessment and the valuation study, the performance of the valuation methods was compared, and it was determined that the best result according to the test data was the valuation with ANN. In the performance analysis conducted with ANN, the Coefficient of Determination (R²) =0.87, Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE)=0.192, Mean Square Error (MSE)=0.047 and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE)=0.059 was found. Moreover, according to the proportional standards guide determined by the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO), the performance measurement, the values derived for the Coefficient of Dispersion as (COD)=19.58 and Price-Related Differential as (PRD)=1.02 were also found to be within acceptable limits. Value maps were generated with the results obtained from the calculation. These maps will be drawn in the region for purposes of purchase and sale, expropriation, credit facility, and taxation, etc. And thus, the maps can be used as a base for the aforementioned subjects.

Recently, it is noticeable an increase in these fires that hit many countries, especially in Lebanon which is considered a country rich in forests. A forest fire can be naturally caused by either global warming or high temperature. On the other hand, it may be caused by man-made via factories and glass waste. Fires cause great damage to the environment and may lead to human death. Unforutnatey, the fire that broke out in AL-Qoubaiyat and Tyre in Lebanon, have been witnessed and caused great damage to the environment, human losses, etc. In this study, a study of fire risk management for those two study areas, will be analyzed using two types of data (Landsat-8 and Sentinel-2) and using the Normalized Burn Ration (NBR), Differenced Normalized Burn Ration (NBR) along with all type of required atmospheric corrections. Hoping that this method will help in tracking fires, disaster risk reduction, and help in classifying burn severity accompanied with calculating the area corresponding to each class.

This study integrates remote sensing and GIS data to map burned areas and severity, and regeneration of vegetation in a Mediterranean forest type ecosystem (National Park "Dajti Mountain", NPDM), in Albania. Landsat 8 satellite imagery was employed to calculate various spectral indices such as the Normal Burn Ratio Index (NBR), NBR2, the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and the Improved Vegetation Index (EVI). Burn severity levels were defined by using the dNBR thresholds developed by Key and Benson (2006). The accuracy of the burn severity map produced was evaluated by relating field-based Composite Burn Index (CBI) and satellite-derived metrics (dNBR) from Landsat-8. By means of dNBR and dNBR2 we detected and mapped several burned forest areas within the NPDM, at the sites of Shkallë, Qafëmolle, Ibë, Tujan, Derje, Selbë, Surrel and Dajt, which were affected by wildfire during the year 2017. The dNBR produced the best results for burned areas mapping and burn severity assessment (91.7%) over the dNBR2 (89.8%). The dNBR/dNBR2 index maps showed that a total of 103.59/105.72 hectares of forests was affected by wildfire. Areas with different levels of burn severity were detected: 17.29/23.80% unburned, 43.36/45% low, 15.11/12.13% moderate, 24.93/21.2% high. Overall, the dNBR2 index produced lower percentages of wildfire-affected areas at high and moderate rates compared to the dNBR index while for unburned areas the dNBR2 index resulted in higher percentages. Vegetation recovery during the subsequent growing season was generally good as revealed by the high NDVI and EVI values, indicating the reactivation of photosynthetic activity. This information is useful for forest managers/specialists to design relevant strategies for the proper rehabilitation/management of burned forest areas in the future.

When slope failure occurs, devastating results occur both in human life and financially. Slope failures are frequently seen especially in regions where rainfall is high. The most important factor affecting slope stabilities is rainfall infiltration. It is known that infilled soils are generally unsaturated soil. Therefore, the analysis of infill slopes should be done within the scope of unsaturated soil mechanics. Rainfall infiltration causes the groundwater level to rise, which reduces the shear strength of the soil. Eventually, it can cause the slope instability. \u0000In this study, the effect of rainfall intensity, rainfall duration, soil permeability, groundwater level, cohesion of soil, internal friction angle of the soil, and slope angle of the slope on the slope stability were analysed parametrically by using Seep/w and Slope/w modules of Geostudio software. At the end of the study, different factor of safety numbers were found for each analysis, how much the parameters affected the slope stability were shown and interpreted. \u0000It has been observed by the analyses that the rainfall intensity affects the stability of the slope. It was found that there is a non-linear relationship between rainfall intensity and safety number. As the rainfall intensity increases, the negative pore water pressure in the soil decreases nonlinearly, and the factor of safety number of the slope similarly decreases.

Remote sensing data is the most effective alternative due to its advantages as effortless, requiring less labor, and displaying large areas in a single frame. Analyzing and estimating Chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) concentrations constitute the most important research topics in water bodies because all phytoplankton contain Chl-a. In this study, we evaluated the performance of algorithms in estimating the Chl-a concentration of Lake Bafa based on Sentinel 2 bands which are simulated from in situ reflectance data. We used 1/R665xR705, 1/R665-1/R705, (1/R665-1/R705)xR740, R705/(R560+R665), and, Normalized Difference Chlorophyll Index (NDCI) algorithms for evaluation. Water samples and in situ measurements were collected and obtained in two field campaigns. Bands of Sentinel 2 were then simulated from in situ reflectance data and used to calibrate and validate models for Chl-a estimation. As a result of the analyzes results 0.679, 0.749, 0.395, 0.726, and 0.7 R² values and 1.882, 1.663, 1.737, and 1.818 µg/l RMSE values obtained respectively.
