However, most of the content available in the literature deals with continuous-time observers and some details of them are not properly addressed. This paper presents contributions to the discrete-time sliding mode observers for permanent magnet synchronous motor drive systems. The sliding mode observed covered in this paper is based on the Sigmoid function instead of Sign function, thus reducing the problems of chattering. Details of this function are carefully explained in discrete-time framework. Besides that, this papers describes discrete-time differentiators and integrators with superior performance over the conventional ones, since these functions play an important role in the system performance. Case studies with hardware-in-the-loop tests are conducted to show that the contributions of this paper can help designers to employ observers for motor drive systems in a straightforward manner.","PeriodicalId":441321,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117275553","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In these approaches, vector measurements are used to tune the parameters of the equivalent, rather than the primary definition. This article proposes a new approach to defining the equivalent as a black box. The structure of the equivalent is determined depending on the number of border branches. Power inputs are connected to each boundary branch, which are equivalent peaks, which are connected to each other according to the principle each with each through resistance and an ideal transformer to take into account the possible voltage classes of each of the equivalent peaks. The equivalent parameters are determined using optimization methods, and the objective function is the deviation error of the flows along the boundary branches in the model from the flows along the boundary branches taken using vector measuring devices.","PeriodicalId":441321,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"357 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115854455","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Studies on the EVs having zero emissions enhance, since fossil fuel vehicles cause environmental pollution. The converter and inverter topologies are used in the structure of EVs according to motor types. An inverter circuit is needed to convert the dc voltage obtained from the batteries to ac voltage. The inverter affects performance of the electric motor used in EVs. Three phase three level active neutral point clamping (ANPC) inverter topology is one of the multilevel inverter topologies is preferred in this study since it has high power quality. The induction motor, which has simple structure and low cost maintenance, is widely used in the EVs. In this study, speed sensorless induction motor drive has been modelled for EVs. The required switching pulses for ANPC inverter are obtained by the developed model predictive controller (MPC) for torque control of induction motor. The speed value of induction motor required for MPC has been obtained by the model reference adaptive system (MRAS) method. The proposed induction motor drive for EVs has been analyzed under variable speed and torque values.","PeriodicalId":441321,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128435008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Optimal energy scheduling of wide range and large number of flexible asset, using operational information from stakeholders (such dynamic pricing rates) and relying on customer preferences has been a processing power intensive major challenge. The inconsistencies between the common assumptions, simplifications in modeling, scenario determination and observations gained from field pilots require design and investigation of improved models and scenarios that can better represent reality. This study presents a cloud-based optimal energy scheduling approach for community microgrids with large penetration of photovoltaics and electric vehicle chargers. A case study for an urban energy community is explored highlighting the promising flexibility potential of EV charging coordination of wide range of car models and charger options.","PeriodicalId":441321,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122643667","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, planning of new charging stations and active operation of charging stations have become more important. Studies about the integration of electric vehicles are very common, but the parameters and models adopted in these studies are simplified and analyses are made by making contradictory general assumptions. Therefore, there is a need for electric vehicle studies to be carried out with more detailed and realistic parameters. This study includes a wide range of normal and fast charging sessions and the housing demand of several customers. An aggregated charging management solution is developed, to keep the overall demand below the maximum limit at the medium voltage transformer level. This study provides a way to determine the suitability of the infrastructure or the integration challenges in the areas where the installation of parking and charging stations is aimed and proposes solutions. Initial simulation results show peaks at specific time intervals, especially in evening hours and these peaks cause overloads. To solve this problem two different methods were used. The first method is the random selection method, the second method is the sorted selection method. After the solutions are applied, high load values decrease, both worked successfully but the sorted selection method was more flexible and obtained more usable results. On the other hand, random method generally gave mix of good and bad results.","PeriodicalId":441321,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121677448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This work proposed a fuzzy controller to mitigate the congestion by controlling the PVDG power that has an impact on the distribution networks. The fuzzy controller asset congestion management (FCACM) works based on data from the monitoring and measurements in distribution networks. First, it calculates the total PVDGs generation and demand load to constantly find the maximum PVDGs generation that can be accommodated without leading to congestion in distribution networks. The maximum PVDGs generation translated into generation set points sent as flat one-way signals to all PVDG units in distribution networks.","PeriodicalId":441321,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126454007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Permanent magnets are used instead of rotor excitation to reduce losses. Therefore, not only the losses of the rotor winding are eliminated, but also the efficiency of the machine is increased. A surface inset consequent pole (SICP) machine has also been used to reduce costs. Because less magnets are utilized in this structure. The main problem is the affecting the residual flux density from temperature. In this paper, the SICP is analyzed by two-dimensional method, then magnetic flux density, Back-EMF, instantaneous torque and unbalanced magnetic forces are calculated. In this research, either the effect of temperature changes on the mentioned cases has been investigated, or two types of magnetization patterns include radial and parallel have been considered.","PeriodicalId":441321,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference (GPECOM)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128109971","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is extremely close to us, which is why we must take advantage of it because these changes imply the ability to continue progressing in any area. This project shows how a Raspberry Pi minicomputer may be used to control a Brushless motor and propeller. Thus, a system has been developed for controlling punctual angular locations, given a specific menu, and for stabilizing said positions even in the presence of external disturbances, by adjusting the rotational speed of a Brushless motor through changes in the percentage of a signal pulse width PWM. The controller and data collecting was programmed using the Thonny development environment, which is based on the Python programming language.
