An integration of controls in the tool whose input is the eyeball movement of a user facilitates the control of the infotainment system of an automobile vehicle. The eyeball movements and blinks are linked to the functionalities of clicking and movement of cursor for the infotainment system. The tool also tracks the emotion of the driver, thereby giving information about the emotional state of the driver during the entire drive. Just as touchscreens revolutionized our way of communicating with computers, thereby bringing about a new class of machines called smartphones, this tool is designed to create yet another way of interacting with machines and hopefully create a new race of machines designed around this specific interface.","PeriodicalId":441215,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Emerging Smart Computing and Informatics (ESCI)","volume":"193 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122505623","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, for true de-noising of the images, we need to re-apply the de-noising algorithm on the image, so that removes a remnant noise from the image and obtained the de-noised image. In this paper, we tend to propose a unique algorithmic rule that uses adaptive recursive algorithmic filtering using hexagonal structure to de-noise images that are debased by salt also pepper commotion. The proposed calculation is contrasted, and a traditional channel calculation based on a square structure. The results show that the planned formula improves the peak Signal to Noise ratio (PSNR) by quite 10 dB regarding typical filter using a structure of square.","PeriodicalId":441215,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Emerging Smart Computing and Informatics (ESCI)","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124733441","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With an enormous number of employees working there, physically recording each employee's daily attendance is tiresome and time-consuming. Digital solutions based on RFID, biometrics and other technologies have been developed. However, they require expensive hardware in-frastructure and ongoing maintenance, which isn't cost-effective. We present a revolutionary real-time attendance marking and recording system that addresses all of these problems to meet the demand of the digital age for attendance marking without spoofing or unethical behaviors. Our solution is a user-friendly android application that allows users to take and upload a group snapshot of the people whose attendance needs to be noted. The application has a robust backend that effectively recognizes each user by detecting their faces, extracting those faces, creating face embeddings, and comparing them to those in the database. We have recorded the recognition time of 8.28 seconds. Our solution has the potential to be quickly adopted by any company with just a few modifications.","PeriodicalId":441215,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Emerging Smart Computing and Informatics (ESCI)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128407201","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They cause not only discomfort to citizens but also deaths due to vehicle accidents. In many developing countries and developed countries, the main problem is road deterioration. In the US nearly 2000 accidents were recorded due to potholes and road damage. The main aim of this project is to decrease the road accidents happening daily around the world. Many people while driving a car cannot see some of the potholes on the road and if they do not slow down their vehicles, there is a chance of an accident or vehicle damage. Therefore to decrease this kind of accident we came up with a project which recognizes potholes on the roads and alerts the driver by making a beep sound. To accomplish this objective we used the Yolo algorithm for pothole detection which uses neural networks. If the cameras can be installed on moving vehicles, then the potholes can be detected in real-time and avoided by alerting the driver.","PeriodicalId":441215,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Emerging Smart Computing and Informatics (ESCI)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117305370","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Studies have proven that Computer Vision can be successfully involved in classifying fresh and stale fruits and vegetables and measuring their freshness to some extent. This work attempts to determine and analyze the freshness of fruits and vegetables from their images by proposing a Machine Learning methodology. The entire study was divided into two steps. The first step focused on obtaining classification between images of fresh and stale fruits and vegetables. For this, we trained the ConvNeXt model on an open-source imagery dataset consisting of 12 classes, and it proved efficient by achieving an accuracy of 99.77%. The second step focused on analyzing how fresh a particular fruit or vegetable is from its image. We achieved this by using an open-source dataset of tomato images and extracting features specific to the texture, shape, and colour from these images. Further, we trained classification models on these extracted features and presented the results as quantitative measures with scores of 10 for each of these three factors. Thus, we attempted to achieve an in-depth freshness analysis by grading the images based on these three critical factors while defining freshness.","PeriodicalId":441215,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Emerging Smart Computing and Informatics (ESCI)","volume":"94 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131447638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Numerous natural disasters, such as drought, are directly related to it and are impacted by it. Drought is the most hazardous of all the disasters. Identifying drought is difficult as it has no universal definition. It varies from region to region and climate to climate. There are various contributing factors in the judgment. It can be regional resources like climate, soil type, flora and fauna, precipitation, crop culture, etc. Also, many indicators are available that can define a drought and its type. Scientists have tried to find the most reliable indicator to identify the drought. They have concluded that no best indicator exists. In order to find the best fit, researchers recommend focusing on regional resources. The goal of the study is to make an analysis of the rainfall in the semi-arid region of Marathwada and implement a suitable machine learning approach to enhance the outcome. Over 41 years of regional precipitation data are used for the analysis. The monthly rainfall data is prepared for this study. Time series data is modelled with a machine learning approach.","PeriodicalId":441215,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Emerging Smart Computing and Informatics (ESCI)","volume":"528 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132388085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main reason for the increase in the price of fruits is the manual labor behind it. It is the sorting and grading done by such humans which takes a prolonged period of time, inconsistent, onerous, subjective, variable, costly and influenced by other factors such as the environment around them which holds these fruits at an untouchable rate to the normal low paid consumers. To tackle this and hopefully reduce the rising price in fruits we have come up with a solution that a Fruit freshness System needs to be put in place. As computer vision has been used by many researchers to sort and grade fruits, we decided the best way to aid our solution would be by the implementation of Computer Vision. The summary of this paper is that it provides an overview of the many methods which have been implemented to reduce and lower the manual labor in the grading and sorting of fruits in the market i.e., feature extraction, segmentation, preprocessing, classification which addresses the fruits and the quality of the fruits based on texture, color, shape, size, and it's defects. These steps lead to a much more accurate shelf-life date of the fruits which also tackles the problem of food wastage, this will decrease the wastage of fruits from turning spoiled much earlier than expected.","PeriodicalId":441215,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Emerging Smart Computing and Informatics (ESCI)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126117989","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
