Around 20% of the alcohol drank is absorbed by the stomach. The remaining 80% is mostly absorbed by the small intestine. The circulatory system also delivers alcohol to the liver, which uses a process known as \"metabolizing\" to remove it from the bloodstream by converting it to a harmless molecule. Because the liver can only digest a certain amount at a time, the rest circulates throughout the body. Aim-To assess the clinical efficacy of Ashtang Lavanin Alcohol addiction and withdrawal symptoms. Materials and Methods-The clinical efficacy of Ashtang Lavanin the treatment of alcohol addiction and withdrawal symptoms was evaluated using a randomized single blind technique. Ashtang Lavanwas administered to one group to help with hepatotoxicity and withdrawal symptoms such as sleeplessness, anxiety, and agitation. Before and after therapy, the Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment-Alcohol revised (CIWA-Ar) scale was used to examine the clinical symptoms of alcohol withdrawal. Clinical manifestations of alcohol withdrawals recorded between 5 and 10 hours after ceasing to drink were used as a baseline for before therapy, while clinical manifestations of withdrawals after 1 month were used as a baseline for after treatment. Result-There were 26.66 percent of patients in one group who reported excellent alleviation. Conclusion-Throughout the clinical trial, 36.00 percent of patients in one group were found to be de-addicted.","PeriodicalId":438487,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal of Ayurveda & Yoga","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131434418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a matter of fact, this complication is also a disease with a separate entity. The only fact to be remembered is that the Upadrava develops after the formation of the main disease. The etiology of doshas remaining the same for both. Upadrava is the disease produced after the formation of the main disease and is dependent on the main disease whether the upadrava is mild or grave. Besides the above definition the following are also considered as upadrava. It is a secondary disease or complication, produced by the same dosha as is responsible for the main disease. When the main disease is produced and the doshas are further vitiated owing to the abnormal diet, behavior etc. a second disease is super added and is called upadrava. Acharya Vagbhata has stated in his classical book Ashtanga Sangraha a separate chapter about Visha Upadravas. Sushruta has talked about Visha upadrava in the context of Dushi Visha and while explaining the management of snake poisons.These Upadravas are the aggravation of symptoms as quoted besides many others as stated by Vagbhata in a person afflicted by Dushi Visha (slow poison) or Visha at a later stage which again means a form of Dushi Visha . Understanding these Upadravas in the present clinical aspect is very much appreciated. Apart from venomous bites, as a possibility we can also consider the prolonged use of contaminated substances in the form of food, air, water, land, medication etc to be akin to Visha and their ill effects as the Upadrava.","PeriodicalId":438487,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal of Ayurveda & Yoga","volume":"803 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133138839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a bridge between initial phase i.e. origin to final outcome i.e. treatment of disease. The complete knowledge regarding the origin to pathogenesis helps to institute appropriate treatment and to suggest preventive measures. This paper is about Nidana sthana of Charaka Samhita . At present time, the existence of everything has been proved practically and scientifically. So, Ayurveda needs a deep study and research for proving all the facts established by Acharya in ancient time. In Ayurveda, the concept of Garbha & Garbhotpatti is described systematically. Acharya have explained four important factors as Garbha Sambhav Samagri that is Ritu, Kshetra, Ambu and Beeja. These factors are very essential for conception. Infertility may occur if there is any abnormality in Garbha Sambhav Samagri. So, for a healthy and best offspring the factors concerned with conception must be in good qualities. The knowledge of Garbhotpatti helps to create suitable conditions for conception and healthy foetus also. This study will help to understand the normal and abnormal features of Garbha Sambhav Samagri in production of a healthy child.","PeriodicalId":438487,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal of Ayurveda & Yoga","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115814114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mutrakrichchhra's pratyatma lakshana is \"Dukhena mutra pravritti,\" which means \"discomfort during micturition.\" A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a disorder in which bacteria enter the urinary tract, stay there, and multiply. Other diseases with Mutrakrichchhra as a lakshana include Ashmari, Mutraghata, Mutraja vriddhri, Arsha, and Gulma. This sickness is described in practically all key sources that discuss its prevalence in the ancient world. In Mutrakrichchhra, the prakupit pitta dosha, combined with vata (mostly Apana vayu), enters the Vasti (urinary bladder) and affects the Mutravaha Srotas, causing symptoms such as Daha,Ruja,Basti-gurutva,Shotha,Muhurmutrata,Peet mutrata, and Sarakta mutrata.
