The lamps were cithcr providcd with an electronic ballasL a magnetic core ballast or a magnetic core ballast with a power factor correction circuit The test results show that the elwtricd performanu: of the compact fluorescent lamps for both sinusoidal and distorted voltage waveform operation is relarrd to the different ' y p t s of ballast used.
