The proposed antenna provides 22.72% to 50.34% miniaturization for various positions of dielectric resonator on the slot covering 1.42GHz to 2.21GHz with good radiation characteristics whereas earlier work focus on single frequency operation. The advantage of this system is that it is achieved good return-loss characteristics without imposing an external impedance matching network for each radiation condition. The antenna efficiency for multiple resonant frequencies are varies 68% to 78%. An antenna prototype has been designed, fabricated, and validated with experimental results.","PeriodicalId":438405,"journal":{"name":"2019 10th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115361691","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, application of neural networks to estimate the person real height is explored. A comprehensive data set of 264 images comprising 22 males and 11 females with each of 10 instances are used for experimental study. For feature extraction, we have taken 10 anthropometrics namely stature, neck height, acrominal height, head length, mouth to top of head distance, forehead to chin distance, sellion to chin distance, biocular distance and bitragion distance from full body uncalibrated photograph of a person and computed their pairwise ratios. These ratios are used as inputs to train Multi layer perceptron neural networks(MLP). The performance of model is evaluated using Regression correlation coefficient(R)and RMSE. Comparitive indices of the optimized ANN with input values refering the pair wise rations of Antropometrics for prediction of person real height are $mathbf{R}=0.964644$ and $mathbf{RMSE} =2.484$ (males), $mathbf{R}=0.8981 mathbf{RMSE} =8.1375$ (females) and $mathbf{R}=.812$ (males and females together). The results have proven that MLP network is good method to model the accurate real height estimator and could be deployed in distributed surveillance environments for person re-identification in occluded regions with in overlapping and non overlapping camera Field of View(FoV).","PeriodicalId":438405,"journal":{"name":"2019 10th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"117 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115588144","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we have proposed a novel frequent access pattern-based prefetching algorithm for distributed file system that is implemented in an environment in which multiple types of storage devices such as hard disk, solid state drives and main memory are used. We have also proposed a new placement algorithm for file blocks which move file blocks from one level of memory to other levels of memory by considering the support of the file block access patterns. The combination of frequent access pattern-based prefetching and judicious placement of file blocks in the multiple memory devices in a static manner will reduce the average read access time of the distributed file system. Our simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can improve the performance of the distributed file system by considering average read access time and cache hits. For the performance comparison study purpose, we have considered the support-based prefetching algorithm.","PeriodicalId":438405,"journal":{"name":"2019 10th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116681597","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

H. Kashan at. al. in Feb. 2019. The algorithm is inspired by a targeting process used in the military application. In this paper the F3EA algorithm is suitably employed to perform multi-objective clustering. The task is carried out by simultaneously optimizing two contradictory objective functions: intra-cluster distance and inter-cluster distance. The performance of multi-objective F3EA clustering is compared with the clustering results obtained by benchmark algorithms: Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II) and Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization (MOPSO). The simulation is carried out on six UCI Repository Datasets and four big datasets. Superior performance is demonstrated in the form of obtained Pareto front and observed clustering accuracy with box plots. Also noted that the run time of F3EA is slightly higher than NSGA-II.","PeriodicalId":438405,"journal":{"name":"2019 10th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"38 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120816583","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lifestyle is very dynamic, as well as the environment. People love to have a comfortable, healthy, secure and easy life. For all these basic requirements the need for an appropriate house is worthy of definition. Choices of people vary with another. So, to find out the choices by ranking for a tenant or house owner is a difficult job indeed. In this paper, an algorithm is proposed to rank the choices of a tenant or house owner by the preferences they desire. Preference set is granted on some basic requirements in a developing country (i.e. Bangladesh) such as location, rent, house space, etc. In the preference set, some are considered with higher priority than others. This priority is set by parameters based on people's basic desire expressed through a survey. A renowned algorithm, stable marriage by Gale-Shapley [1] is used here for the matching between the tenants and house owners. So that there will be no unstable tenant-owner pair.","PeriodicalId":438405,"journal":{"name":"2019 10th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"112 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127124948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is a need of communication among members of different nets, for command and control data exchange and voice communication in tactical scenario. It is imperative that each node in network should have capability to listen other nets also. Hence multi-channel reception capability is required for each node of the network. These systems form important components of self-driving vehicles also. Traffic Sign Recognition system is such an automated system which provides the required contextual awareness for the self-driving vehicle. CNN based methods like Faster R-CNN for object detection provide human level accuracy and real time performance and are proven successful in Traffic Sign Recognition systems [1]. Single stage detection systems such as YOLO [2] and SSD [3], despite offering state-of-the-art real-time detection speed, are not preferred for traffic sign detection problem due to its reduced accuracy and small object detection issues. The enhanced YOLO versions, YOLOv2 and YOLOv3 have shown promising results with respect to accuracy and speed required for object detection problems. YOLOv3 uses specialized network architecture inspired from feature pyramid network and has several design changes over previous versions to tackle the low accuracy and small object detection problems. In this paper, an approach for traffic sign recognition system based on YOLOv3 is presented with comparative analysis of its performance with Faster R-CNN based sign detector [1]. YOLOv3 forms the traffic sign detection network and a CNN-based classifier forms the traffic sign class recognizer. The network training and evaluation are done using the German Traffic Sign Detection Benchmark (GTSDB) [5] dataset and the classifier performance is verified using German Traffic Sign Recognition Benchmark (GTSRB) [6] dataset.","PeriodicalId":438405,"journal":{"name":"2019 10th International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT)","volume":"121 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127282816","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this article the behavior and performances of electron transport materials are mostly focused which generally increase the proficiency of Perovskite solar cell by simultaneously increasing the open circuit voltage and short circuit current. The role of graphene as an electron transport material is mainly discussed and also compared with some other metal oxide electron transport material as well as organic-based electron transport material. As keeping graphene as an electron transport material the predicted results of Perovskite solar cell are as follows: - maximum power conversion efficiency (PCE) = 23.42%, short-circuit-current-densit=3.2SA/m2, open-circuit-voltage=O.86v,fill factor=0.83au. Machine learning algorithms have played a significant role in detection of credit card frauds. However, the unbalanced nature of the real-life datasets causes the traditional classification algorithms to perform low in detection of credit card fraud. In this work, a cost-sensitive weighted random forest algorithm has been proposed for effective credit card fraud detection. A cost-function has been defined in the training phase of each tree, in bagging which emphasizes to assign more weight to the minority instances during training. The trees are ranked according to their predictive ability of the minority class instances. The proposed work has been compared with two existing random-forest based techniques for two binary credit card datasets. The efficiency of the model has been evaluated in terms G-mean, F-measure and AUC values.
