Methods for the selection of material for the collection and the study of the rhythm of growth and development of plants are presented. The creation of a unique collection of relocated plants is the main result of the introduction of herbaceous plants. This is a repository of the gene pool of rare species, as well as a kind of testing ground for scientific and scientific-educational work.","PeriodicalId":438304,"journal":{"name":"Transaction Kola Science Centre","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128797327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In several generations, data were obtained on the most important parameters: fecundity, duration of preimaginal stages of development and life of the adult at the optimal temperature. The shore dunes and sandy beaches of Lake Ladoga, as well as black alder swamps in depressions between ancient levees harbored the most distinctive flora.
