The integration of robots in our societies is an inevitable tendency in which robots in many forms and with many functionalities will provide services to humans. This calls for an understanding of how humans are affected by both the presence of and the reliance on robots to perform services for them. In this paper we explore the effects that robots have on humans when a service is performed on request. We expose three groups of human participants to three levels of service completion performed by robots. We record and analyse human perceptions such as propensity to trust, competency, responsiveness, sociability, and team work ability. Our results demonstrate that humans tend to trust robots and are more willing to interact with them when they autonomously recover from failure by requesting help from other robots to fulfil their service. This supports the view that autonomy and team working capabilities must be brought into robots in an effort to strengthen trust in robots performing a service.","PeriodicalId":438172,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 27th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127503599","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A Feature Model (FM) is a popular graphical/textual representation used in SPL requirements specification; it is used to capture commonality and variability information existing in an SPL as a set of inter-related and configurable features. A concrete model of an SPL instance is obtained by binding the variation information in the FM with a configuration that meets a specific set of feature requirements. Since configuration decisions are taken prior to instantiation, invalid configurations should be detected/avoided before design begins. This paper addresses the problem of the verification of the correctness (validity) of FM instances and FM configuration during requirements modelling. It proposes a requirements model based on Event-B contexts, allowing us to check the correctness of a given configuration, before starting the correct-by-construction design and implementation process, based on refinement.","PeriodicalId":438172,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 27th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127040533","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We bring in this paper configuration to the Web services context and provide personalized features for composite services. The process of configuring a composite Web service results on a planning-style approach that creates new Web services through combining existing ones while considering user's constraints and preferences. We propose a bottom-up reasoning approach that connects services based on configuration knowledge witch includes configuration operators and configuration rules in order to generate the configured service that cover the tourist's information need. A positive yet preliminary evaluation with tourists has been carried out and shows the usability of our approach.","PeriodicalId":438172,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 27th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116538853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this respect, Galois lattice are very useful for the task of knowledge discovery in databases. In this study project, we introduce a new approach aiming to extract a reduced set of formal concepts from a given formal context. In this context, distributed simulation (DS) can effectively support the analysis and design of these systems by enabling the evaluation and comparison of different design choices. In the DS domain the IEEE 1516-2010 - High Level Architecture (HLA) represents the most mature standard. Unfortunately, the development of DS compliant with the HLA standard is a challenging and costly task. To overcome this problem, the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standard could represent a viable solution, since it offers a standardized graphical notation based on a flowcharting technique that allows developers to easily specify the behavioral view of such a system in terms of business processes. The paper presents a Model-Driven method that, according to the Model-Driven systems engineering paradigm, allows to generate the HLA-based simulation code from BPMN models by use of a chain of model-to-text transformations.","PeriodicalId":438172,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 27th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"107 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131087179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But, in modern business management, new perspectives are opened and new tasks are invented. In this network involving a myriad of businesses and relationships, the supply chain management (SCM) process should assure global interoperability between trading entities and partners. The traditional technologies are still unable to offer a cost efficient and trusted system for information sharing and provenance recording between these entities and partners having different clearance and priorities. Therefore, security and scalability become an important consideration for the design of supply chain architecture (SCA). In 1979, Ralph Merkle has proposed the Merkle tree which is a key management scheme based on tree architecture. In this paper, we present a secured distributed supply chain architecture based on Merkle tree. The proposed design aims at replacing the current Peer to Peer architecture using a scalable and secure key management scheme.","PeriodicalId":438172,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 27th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129665445","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research fields, such as educational data mining are investigating algorithms that can use this data to better understand students and the settings which they learn in. In recent years, this has repeatedly led to problems between companies that want to analyze the data, and students, parents, and schools, which do not agree with a non-transparent use of their data. In this work, we propose an approach that can lead to transparency, and thus confidence, in the use of educational data mining. Every student should decide for himself which of his data may be passed on to third parties and be used by them. In the form of opt-in checklists, the features or feature groups are provided for selection. Since not every student will allow everything, datasets with missing values are created. This requires algorithms or strategies to deal with such data. We simulate missing values on a student dataset and evaluate an approach to dealing with missing data for several prediction tasks of different difficulty levels. Depending on the amount of missing data in a dataset, and the predictive task, this approach provides useful results.","PeriodicalId":438172,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 27th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"195 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134404922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This helps to emphasize how to improve processes to offer an attractive quality/price ratio that meets the expectations of the customer while maximizing profit. Business process management (BPM) fosters the benefits of process oriented-approach by ensuring the alignment between business requirements and the information technology. Modeling and Simulation (M&S) are the fundamentals of BPM. It increases the understandability of the process and facilitate its analysis for improvement. Moreover, the purpose of M&S is to bridge the gap between process requirements and process execution. Although their effective use is still limited in business area. To overcome this limitation an automated simulation approach extending BPMN with non-functional requirements at design time was provided. This paper presents a functional overview of our future enhancement to this approach that intends to enumerate process paths and prepare the involvement of human in the loop during simulation time.","PeriodicalId":438172,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 27th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE)","volume":"226 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134571981","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
