Posisinya yang memanjang dengan arah timur laut – barat daya seakan membelah Kabupaten Pacitan menjadi dua bagian, hal ini membuat Sesar Grindulu menjadi ancaman serius bagi masyarakat Pacitan. Salah satu langkah mitigasi bencana yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan mengidentifikasi karakteristik Sesar Grindulu untuk mendapatkan informasi sebanyak mungkin. Dalam penelitian ini, tipe Sesar Grindulu ditentukan berdasarkan analisis pola tegasan menggunakan software Win-Tensor. Data masukan berupa dip dan strike adalah data sekunder hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil analisis pola tegasan menunjukkan bahwa tegasan maksimum (σ1) merupakan gaya kompresi dan tegasan minimumnya (σ3) adalah gaya regangan, dimana keduanya berarah horisontal. Sedangkan tegasan menengahnya (σ2) berarah vertikal. Pola tegasan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Sesar Grindulu termasuk dalam jenis sesar geser mengiri. Sementara itu, hasil proyeksi stereografi memperlihatkan bahwa tegasan utamanya (σ1) berarah N17oE, sedangkan bidang sesarnya memiliki arah N60oE. Berdasarkan sistem sesar geser menurut konsep Moody dan Hill, Sesar Grindulu digolongkan ke dalam sesar geser orde pertama karena gaya kompresi terbesarnya menggerus pada sudut 43o.","PeriodicalId":436989,"journal":{"name":"GEOSAINS KUTAI BASIN","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130848981","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Mulawarman University. The hydrodynamic model FVCOM (Finite Volume Coastal Ocean Model) using the approach method finite volume has been applied to determine the distribution of tidal current patterns in the Balikpapan Bay area. The simulation was carried out for 30 days using river discharge and tides as generating forces. The simulation results has verified by using the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) method on observation data in the Balikpapan Bay area. The results of the simulation and observation verification have a good agreement, which is 0.09917 meters. The smaller (closer to zero) RMSE value, is the better results of the observation and simulation match. The purpose of this study is to determine the movement of land based on the pattern of maximum soil velocity that occurred due to the Lombok Earthquake July 29, 2018, which can be used to predict the intensity of the next earthquake. This study uses secondary earthquake data (magnitude) obtained from the USGS (United States Geological Survey). Magnitude data were analyzed using empirical formulas so that the values of intensity, maximum ground velocity and contour maps were obtained. The results show that the movement of the land due to the earthquake moved very quickly towards the north, quickly towards the east, quickly towards the south and finally to the south slowly. The highest maximum ground velocity located in Obel-Obel Village with the value of 23,2 cm / s. The calculation result in the form of this maximum ground velocity can be used as a parameter to predict the upcoming earthquakes that will occur at Lombok or the other side of world. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":436989,"journal":{"name":"GEOSAINS KUTAI BASIN","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122204532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
