The change is caused by data fluctuations, trend, seasonality, cyclicity and irregularities. The generalized additive model (GAM) data approach is used to describe these phenomena. The aim of this research is to find out the factors that affect the air temperature in the Indian Ocean, find a suitable model, and obtain the best model from three approximate methods, namely the Linear Model (LM), the Generalized Linear Model (GLM), and the GAM models, which use a dataset of factors that affect the temperature of the Indian Ocean (close to Aceh region). For the air temperature of α = 0.05, the significant effects are precipitation, relative humidity, sea surface temperature, and the wind speed. The LM, GLM and GAM models are quite feasible because they all meet and pass the classical hypothesis tests, namely the normality test, multicollinearity test, the heteroscedasticity test, and the autocorrelation test. The appropriate model is GAM model based on adaptive smoothers. Compared to the LM, GLM and GAM models, GAM model with the adaptive smoothers base gave smallest AIC values of 4552.890 and 2392.396 where modeling was without and with time variable respectively. Therefore, it can be said that the correct model used at air temperature is the GAM model for adaptive smoothers base.","PeriodicalId":43670,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Mathematical Sciences and Informatics","volume":"14 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81878563","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To access the internet, a typical user shares the same bandwidth that has been provided by the Internet Service Provider (ISP). The scenario worsens when a few of the users access multimedia content on the Internet which requires high bandwidth at the same time. This research could be enhanced in other different network environments, such as wired and mobile phone environments, and represents an analysis of ready bandwidth using a few wireless bandwidth estimation tools, which are WBest, Pathload, IGI MRTG, PRTG and PTR. This paper attempts to design and develop a detection mechanism for wireless estimation bandwidth to estimate an available bandwidththrough several sending of injection traffic packets to the server. In this paper, we measured available bandwidth with WBest. Then we analysed the estimation measurements prior to 2 simulations done on Wireless Mode 11 Mbps 802.11b and Wireless Mode 54 Mbps 802.11g. Three different percentages of packet injection (0%, 25%, 50%) were tested on Wireless Mode 54 Mbps 802.11g. The results accuracy shows that the 50% packet injection performs the least available bandwidth compared to the injection of 0% and 25% of packets.","PeriodicalId":43670,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Mathematical Sciences and Informatics","volume":"100 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87004465","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the first case c∈ [y,z] ⊂ [-1,1] where -1 < y < z < 1, density function h(t) is approximated by the truncated sum of Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind. Direct substitution does not give solutions so we have used the AQS and reduced problems into algebraic equation with unknown parameters bk which can be found in terms of the singular point with some front conditions. In the second case c ∈ [-1,1], the application of the AQS reduced the number of calculations twice and accuracy is increased. As a theoretical result, the convergence theorem of the proposed method is proven in a Hilbert space. Numerical examples with exact solutions and comparisons with other methods are also given, and they are in the line with theoretical findings.","PeriodicalId":43670,"journal":{"name":"Iranian Journal of Mathematical Sciences and Informatics","volume":"23 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78155237","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
