IETF has introduced the Network Mobility (NEMO) protocol to support a moving network. NEMO solves many problems of Mobile IP (MIP) to support a moving group of users, but introduces some problems of its own like suboptimal routing and multiple levels of encapsulation. These problems occur because the NEMO basic support protocol (NEMO BSP) does not support route optimization and because of nested mobile networks. Many solutions have been proposed in the literature to solve these problems. In this article we present a comprehensive survey of those solutions and will discuss their advantages and disadvantages. We also outline the effect of these solutions on handovers and a summary is provided in the form of a table at the end.","PeriodicalId":434420,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123785312","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We can better understand the current market and user interest about a specific product or topic or any term by analyzing all the trends from search engines and social media. Unfortunately, there is no such single platform which provides a market analysis tool which is based on combined trends of the entire web. In this paper, we have discussed our first prototype based on Google and Twitter search trends. In future, we intend to include more search engines and social media websites. Also semantics, opportunity recognition by implementing decision support system and intelligence features would be added to the system.","PeriodicalId":434420,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114172909","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper; we propose a sentence level machine learning approach for sentiment classification of online reviews. The proposed method extracts the subjective sentences from the reviews and label each sentence either positive or negative based on its word level feature using naïve Naïve Bayesian (NB) classifier. The labeled sentences create an annotated set of sentences called as BOS (Bag-of-Sentences). We train Support Vector machine (SVM) classifier on the BOS for sentences polarity classification. The contextual information in each sentence structure is taken into consideration to calculate the semantic orientation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated thought simulation. Results show that our machine learning based proposed method on average achieves accuracy of 81% and 83% with some contextual information. This method improves the sentiment classification polarity on sentence level unlike the word level lexical feature based work, by focus on sentences, this also concentrate on contextual information.","PeriodicalId":434420,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130655818","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We use a path following method to tackle this problem and resort to find the best parameters of this algorithm under Wide-Sense Stationary Uncorrelated Scattering channel conditions. Interesting outcomes result from the variation of these inner parameters. Many QbH systems are based on a feature of humming comparison to audio files, which can be further improved by accompanying other approaches along with humming. In our study, we propose a Hybrid approach of QbH and Metadata search system as audio files retrieval. The proposed framework is based on the Pipe and Filter architecture that provides a serial structure with two filters in order to efficiently retrieve relevant files. Content Based searching works more swiftly when applied on a small collection of files and by using this quality our framework first filter files by audio file retrieval mechanism which will decrease the collection count to the most relevant files that would be further sieved by a second filter QbH. We find our research to be beneficial to the community, as it works on defining a new idea for audio file retrieval, made hybrid in order to achieve high precision and recall efficiently.","PeriodicalId":434420,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115802015","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The link throughput in these links is generally reduced due to channel induces loses. In this paper, we have investigated a point to multipoint Wi-Fi LAN scenario where ISM band RF carrier is translated down in a licensed 400 and 700 MHz band which have better propagation loss characteristics than 2.4 GHz band and thus should provide longer reach. Effect of different physical layer parameters using existing IEEE 802.11 protocol stack is studied to understand the link behavior in terms of the distance and throughput. Simulations have been performed using Network Simulator 2 by incorporating Hata loss model simulation scenario. It is a remote-sensing technique that takes advantage of the elastic properties of the formations. For effective hydrocarbon exploration maximum possible extraction of information from seismic data set is required which is dependent heavily on signal processing algorithms e.g spectral decomposition mechanisms. Improvements in such methods is significant as inaccurate interpretation leads to invalid well locations (dry wells/water wells) which is a great loss of money (approx 25 million USD).\u0000 Singularity Spectrum analysis of the seismic data using the windowing concept is proposed and is applied on real seismic data. It is found that the energy peaks of the singularity spectral attributes namely width, correlation dimension, αpeak and asymmetry within these windows indicates hydrocarbon zones. The development of a windowed singularity spectrum on seismic data for direct hydrocarbon detection is not only an alternative method but an efficient and cost saving technology in exploration and production.","PeriodicalId":434420,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128623273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

'Circus' being a living specification language with continuous collaboration from both academia and industry, is a combination of Z, CSP and the refinement calculus. To make use of the available and industry-proven tools for a particular programming paradigm, there is a need to develop a formally verified link between the one world and the other. The aim of this work is to develop a formally verified link between a state-rich process algebra i.e. 'Circus' to a state-free process algebra i.e. CSP. To achieve the research goal, the most suitable available tools are to identify. For developing link between targeted formal languages, we will identify the key translations required between the two languages. For ensuring correctness of the translation, we will formalise the key translation / refinement steps. These will form the theoretical core of the work and support the soundness of the link. In the end, we will select and verify a case study from the collection of software / hardware protocols.","PeriodicalId":434420,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130915560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
