The impedance distribution law is obtained in the explicit form. Restrictions on class of realizable scattering patterns for passive impedance are formulated; formulas for the reflection coefficient of the flat wave reflected by the inhomogeneous impedance plane are developed. Bistatic and monostatic scattering patterns are considered.","PeriodicalId":433613,"journal":{"name":"2011 VIII International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126150866","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The approach is based on a combined usage of a full wave simulation and physical properties of SWA. The proposed approach was applied to the development of a large-aperture Ka-band antenna with a 1 meter aperture. The obtained antenna gain is close to the theoretical maximum for such aperture. The antenna is also characterized by a relatively wide frequency operational range that is achieved by application of the subarraying technique. The influence of the systematic and random manufacturing errors on the antenna performance is investigated. A comparison of the simulation results with the antenna measurement results is presented as well.","PeriodicalId":433613,"journal":{"name":"2011 VIII International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127693285","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To answer on the question of existence of nonthermal biological effect of electromagnetic field onto living cells the specific absorption rate (SAR) of a solution that contained cells is calculated. From the point of view of the nonlinear properties of HTS conductors, these devices are nonlinear devices that are characterized by various nonlinear effects that often degrade the properties of the whole system. Therefore, the prediction of the nonlinear characteristics of devices with HTS is a very important task still at the design stage. In this paper we consider nonlinear effects in HTS microstrip resonators. A mathematical model based on the method of nonlinear integral equations (NIE) with respect to the distribution of spectral components of current density on the surface of the HTS conductor. A procedure of numerical solution of NIE for a periodic or intermittent mode device is offered. The results of studies of resonators with resistive and inductive nature of the nonlinearity of the surface impedance are introduced. It is shown that in resonators with inductive impedance with an increase in the level of the input there is a shift of the resonance frequency device and the response becomes asymmetric, which in turn leads to different levels of intermodulation distortion at different boundaries of bandwidth. The level of intermodulation products and the higher harmonics in the cavities of various types is analyzed.","PeriodicalId":433613,"journal":{"name":"2011 VIII International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129330079","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The non-uniqueness and branching of solutions are characteristic for problems of this class. The methods for finding the branching lines of solutions dependent on the sizes of the aperture and properties of the prescribed amplitude DP are stated; justified algorithms for finding the optimal solutions of synthesis problem are presented. It is shown that finding the optimal phase DP improves significantly the quality of the approximation of synthesized DP to the prescribed in comparison with synthesis in the class of in-phase DP. In particular, it permits to decrease the sizes of antenna aperture at the same efficiency of synthesis in comparison to synthesis in the class in-phase DP nearly per 30%.","PeriodicalId":433613,"journal":{"name":"2011 VIII International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128460398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
