The use of LA tools implies recording and processing of student activities conducted on software platforms. This paper proposes a flexible, contextual and intuitive way to provide the teacher with full control over student activity tracking in online learning environments. We call this approach AngeLA, inspired by an angel guarding over LA privacy. AngeLA mimics in a virtual space the privacy control mechanism that works well in a physical room: if a person is present in a room, she is able to observe all activities happening in the room. AngeLA serves two main purposes: (1) it increases the awareness of teachers about the activity tracking and (2) provides an intuitive way to manage the activity tracking permissions. This approach can be applied to various learning environments and social media platforms. Career Office provides the comprehensive and innovative career services to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as graduates, and manages to succeed the interconnection with the labor market. The main aim of the second study, was the systematic observation of the career of students, in continuity of the first study [2002 - 2005], and furthermore an analysis of personal and business profile of Graduates. In addition to that, the increased need for knowledge of Academia (students and academic staff) and entrepreneurship, was the greatest motivation for the implementation of the second study for Students' absorption in the job market (for the years 2006-2009), to depict today's students' integration in the working environment. In this paper, the results of the second updated study will be presented, and the 'pros and cons' of students' career development for the specific time period, as realized from the graduates themselves. This research took place, via telephone - fifteen minutes - interviews, and aimed to record the (un)employment status of the graduates for the years 2006 - 2009. Among other characteristics, great emphasis was given on the job mismatches of the field of education, the type of employment and education chosen and the reasons of unemployment. This study was conducted by the Career Office and funded by the Greek Ministry of Education. The magnetic flux density equation is precise only when the entire flux is confined to the core. The errors of the calculation will be small only if magnetic path is completely composed of very high permeability material. The addition of an air gap in our specific case leads to the necessity of finding a way for more accurate calculation. This algorithm could be used for certain practical designs and research projects when higher level of accuracy is needed. For this equation as for many others, there isn't readily available information in the technical books and university materials showing when that equation is valid and when it isn't. Intrapreneurship defined as the innovative initiatives undertaken inside an organization is an effective strategy to address these complexities systematically. Successful ideas within an organization occur due to the tireless persistence and practical imagination of intrapreneurs who are the smart innovators actively involved in the design and creation of new products, ventures and business models. Today there is an increasing global demand for such intrapreneurs and different universities are therefore adopting various entrepreneurship education and training programmes to cater to this. Pedagogy in higher education is also witnessing a significant rise in new interdisciplinary programmes specifically designed for non-business students such as art, engineering, and science students so as to develop their organizational management skills. This paper sheds light on these growing trends of different University programmes and examines their effectiveness. It utilizes an in-depth study of one such successful case: the MSc Engineering Management programme in the University of York, United Kingdom in its role of enhancing intrapreneurial skills of global students. The students can select a topic for a project from our proposals or they can come with their own ideas. In the paper we present results of several student projects that can be in the future used as practical applications for people with special needs. One of these new opportunities is the possibility to access and use computers and equipment remotely. This paradigm can be used for many different purposes - from education and research to management and business tasks. With the increased need for remote access technologies, the establishment of remote access networks is also on the rise. Such networks provide the possibility to establish remote and virtual laboratories, which can be accessed from the Internet. The goal of the virtual laboratories is to provide users with software that simulates and emulates real networks, devices and equipment. This type of laboratories enables the students to practice their skills before using real equipment. Remote laboratories, on the other hand, provide a virtual interface to a real devices. The remote access laboratories are providing the students with a realistic view of the system behavior and are allowing them access to professional tools from anywhere and whenever they need. With the help of the remote laboratories, institutions without access to professional equipment, can run experiments and access specific tools from any location. In this paper we will investigate the process of establishing and using one such remote access laboratory - a laboratory for wireless networks and technologies. The lab setup consists of a remotely accessed computer, a wireless spectrum analyzer and a signal generator. This set of devices provides possibilities for analysis of various modulation techniques, as well as other specific characteristics of the wireless communication systems and devices. In order to extend the functionality of the laboratory set of wireless routers and a group of wireless sensor nodes is added. The wireless routers would provide the possibility to study one of the most widely used family of communication standards - the IEEE 802.11. The wireless sensor networks are currently also very attractive as a research area and are becoming even more widely used. The hybrid cloud consists of on premise private cloud to support device dependent services and a public cloud to support rest of the laboratory services. The on premise private cloud allows concurrent use of device dependent tasks, such as FPGA run services, by making use of the Web services. The elastic nature of the public cloud is suitable for coping with dynamically changing student experimental usages. The number of servers in the public cloud can be scale out or shrink according to the number of simultaneous students accesses. Expensive license CAD tools, such as Verilog-HDL synthesis tools, are allocated for a limited number of the servers in the public cloud and the private cloud, where Verilog-HDL synthesis Web services are realized to achieve remote sharing of these tools. For remote laboratory case, student virtual machines are allocated in the public cloud and remotely issue the FPGA run services and the Verilog-HDL Synthesis services. The existing faculty file/database and education support system serves as an adhesive agent to combine the on premise cloud and the public cloud to minimize the data transfer among them and to perform student VM migrations between remote and actual laboratories.
