To get over such dissipation of time, there is a dire need of an automated attendance system which is reliable, efficient, and which saves time. In recent times, machine learning is enhancing and making human life smart and hence following or using the same old traditional approaches in daily chores and tasks is like wasting the time, energy, and efforts for no reason. This paper concentrates on the implementation of an automated attendance system which uses the face recognition algorithms to record the attendance of the class and manage the class database. However, it is also available in several other facilities and healthcare facilities, such as assisted living quarters, nursing homes, outpatient clinics, and home health care services. Separate experiments were performed to determine the patients’ physical features and ergonomic consideration through the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) which gained comprehensive approach. But design specifications leads to some deficiencies responsible for poor blood circulation, back pain and other related musculoskeletal disorders among the patient. The proposed mechanism is obtained by a design process that considers design objectives specified by the hospital’s medical staff. A lot many of this technology has been explored, but for some technology such as an accelerometer, we have only touched the base. Much data is available through the accelerometer, and this data can help in changing the lives of many people. In this report, a system is proposed that take benefits of the data provided by the accelerometer to give actionable information related to three major areas such as sleep monitoring, posture monitoring and pedometer. These three areas have a significant role to play in an individual’s health and lifestyle. Consider work or home, young or mature; everyone can make use of this information and make data-driven decisions. At the same time, the prototype allows the device to be connected to the world wide web giving the live time feedback and update so that any decision which will be made will be through the real-time data. Along with these three major areas, additional features such as temperature monitoring and custom alarm have also been added to showcase the capability that such a technology can provide thanks to the modular approach that is being followed. Until industrial revolution, almost two-third of the human residents depends only on farming. For major development & solidification of India’s agriculture, research and extension system is one of the most vital needs for agricultural development. If agriculture is to be safe, healthy & sustainable, it is essential to have healthy crops as they play an important role in generating sufficient quantities of healthy foods & contribute to the quality of life. Hence, for the increased production, suitable evaluation of crop disease in the field is very critical. Tomato horticulture farmers face lots of problems out of which leaf disease is of major concern because it happens at the earlier stage of the plant growth and if not treated on time it can destroy the full cultivation. This paper focuses on monitoring the tomato crop plantation and tomato leaf disease classification using image processing techniques and artificial neural networks. Consequently, the grid infrastructure is undergoing a transformation to accommodate the intermittent injection of renewable energy, reduce losses and improve consumer engagement. Such a bidirectional exchange of energy and information, in a modern electricity grid, shows the appropriateness of data-driven and ICT based smart solutions for efficient resource utilization. One such intervention gaining world-wide traction with assorted objectives of cost minimization, utilization of locally generated renewable energy, peak reduction, etc. is peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading. The research community and pilot-scale commercial deployments considerably focus on blockchain as an enabler of P2P energy trading. Therefore in this work, we analyze state-of-the-art from research publications and pilot/commercial deployments of P2P energy trading using blockchain. Presently, India is good at integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) which enables educators and learners to adopt blended and flipped teaching and learning in the classrooms. This unexpected COVID-19 pandemic situation doubles the leverage of technology and stimulates teachers and students to go online. This research paper explores various technological tools for effective blended teaching and learning. When online classes are started students and teachers are apprehensive but gradually engrossed in this uncanny situation to resume the process. In the course of the journey, how effectively these technological tools are used to recommence the studies are the objectives of this paper. The students’ performance records were assessed as a measure of quality learning through the tools. The research was conducted in order to identify the students’ adaptability to the present situation as well as blended learning. The research has focused on specific technological tools like Google Classroom, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, Hangouts, Meet, etc for teaching and learning and assessments. In the present work, a fractional order fuzzy PID controller (FOFPID) was designed to improve the position control response of a rotary servo system. The control errors and their fractional derivatives were applied as input scaling factors to the fuzzy logic controller (FLC). Fuzzy inference system (FIS) was employed to restrict performance indices in control signals. FOFPID performance for a Quanser servomotor was compared against PID, fractional order PID and fuzzy PID (FPID) controllers in terms of both simulations and hardware implementation. The controller performance evaluation metrics included time domain characteristics such as rise, peak, settling times and over / undershoots. The integral absolute and integral time absolute errors were also evaluated for comparisons among the different controllers. Results establish that only the FOFPID controller achieves zero percent over and undershoots. It also attains better set point tracking over other controllers. In this case, spectral unmixing is used to decompose this mixing effect. From the literature, it is clear that non-linear unmixing is more accurate and robust compared to linear unmixing. In this paper, we take a Mangalore dataset captured using Airborne Visible/ Infrared Imaging Spectrometer-Next Generation (AVIRIS-NG) camera to compare various non-linear unmixing. The paper presents and extensive comparison of various endmember extraction algorithms and abundance estimation algorithms. The performance of algorithms was assessed using two quality metrics (Spectral Angle Mapper and Reconstruction Error). Three types of experiments were carried out; endmember extraction accuracy assessment, testing of abundance estimation efficacy and comparison of linear and non-linear models.
