Fishery activities in this village already have a supply chain of fish seeds produced independently of expansion activities. Technological applications have also been applied, such as fish feed engineering and the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in feeding methods. This study aims to examine the potential of Dham Pulo village as a pilot model for freshwater fishery technoparks and identify supporting factors in the development of village potential management as a technopark tourism destination in Aceh Besar District. This study uses qualitative methods with field observations, including interviews and documentation, as well as data analysis. The results of the study show that indicators of the potential of technopark villages include land and infrastructure capabilities, agroecology, creating added value, employment opportunities, government support, and research and development institutions, which show a value of 75.88% in the high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that Dham Pulo Village has high potential and is feasible to be used as a technopark area. However, to increase the potential and make Dham Pulo Village a technopark tourism village, formal regulatory support from the government is needed. The estuary is affected by the coastal reclamation which led to the fester sedimentation. It triggers the problem of altering the shoreline and the dynamics of water movement, as well as the surrounding ecosystem. The modeling approach was applied to reconstruct the alterations around the estuary. The study aimed to estimate the changes on the shoreline, current patterns, and sediment transport patterns (suspended sediment), and to describe marine resources around the estuary of Wairuhu. MIKE 3 FM was utilized to reconstruct the pattern of flow and sediment transport changes, and coordinates plottings from satellite data were used to measure the coastline. The model was validated by using the data of tide and surface flow. The results showed the alteration pattern of the shoreline around the Wairuhu estuary occurred as a result of coastal reclamation. The flow validation (mooring and model) using RMSE was 0.38 which meant there was no difference between the model and mooring. By the model, the flow pattern that passed through the APG was following the tidal pattern. The changes in the tidal platform also occurred on the sediment transport pattern that formed the total distribution pattern of SSC (suspended sediment concentration). H. scabra have high economic value. The price in the local market is IDR 400,000–1,200,000/kg and internationally it is IDR 500,000–IDR 5,000,000/kg dry weight. The level of exploitation is high, and it is suspected that there has been overfishing in several areas. Cultivation efforts need to be done to maintain the population in nature. The natural rate of gonad maturation and spawning in H. scabra broodstock is relatively slow, so efforts are needed to speed it up, among other things by administering hormones. This study aimed to stimulate (1) gonad maturation and (2) H. scabra spawning. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 3 replications in 2 stages using broodstock measuring 250–350 g/head. Stage 1: (1) Treatment A: without immersing the H. scabra in hormone solution, (2) Treatment B: immersing the H. scabra in the Oodev®/Oocyte developer dose of 1 mL/kg weight, and (3) Treatment C: soaking sea cucumber broodstock in Oodev® dose of 2 mL/kg weight. Stage 2: (1) without immersion of the broodstock in hormone solution, (2) immersion of the broodstock in Ovaprim® doses of 1 mL/kg weight. The data obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance. The results showed that immersion of H. scabra broodstock in Oodev® and ovaprim® was not successful in stimulating gonad maturation and spawning in H. scabra broodstock. The spawning behavior of sea cucumbers that were successfully observed included body movements such as writhing, coiling like a ball, sticking to walls, partially erecting their bodies, actively crawling, and being more active at night.Keywords: Gonad; Holothuria scabra; Oodev®; Ovaprim®; Spawning; Sea cucumber.","PeriodicalId":431784,"journal":{"name":"Acta Aquatica: Aquatic Sciences Journal","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116510146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Increasing stocking density can be a solution to increase production, but it will have a negative impact on decreasing water quality which will also disrupt catfish production. Therefore, it needs to be accompanied by the application of biofloc and aquaponics technology which plays a role in maintaining optimal water quality while providing additional natural feed (floc) which can reduce feed use and reduce water usage. This study aims to increase the production value of sangkuriang catfish through the application of biofloc and aquaponic systems. This research was conducted in October-November 2022 at the Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga Agribusiness Group, Ogan Ilir Regency. This study was designed using a comparison experiment. The treatments given consisted of P0 (control), P1 (Maintenance of sangkuriang catfish aquaponic biofloc of kale plant), and P2 (Maintenance of Sangkuriang catfish aquaponic biofloc of lettuce plant). This study aims to determine the type of sediment, the percentage of total organic matter, water quality, mangrove density, and determine the relationship between sediment types, total organic matter, and water quality on mangrove density on Tunda Island, Serang, Banten. This study used a survey method while collecting data using a purposive sampling method. Mangrove density was obtained through the line transect plot method. The sediment type test used the dry sieving method, the total organic matter (BOT) test used the loss on ignition (LOI) method, the statistical test used the multiple correlation method. All data was then analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the study are that the type of sediment in Tunda Island mangroves is dominated by silty sand and sand. The total organic matter contained in mangrove sediments ranges from 2.40% - 3.62% which is included in the moderate to high category. Salinity values ranged from 31 - 34.33 ppt included in the high category. The pH value ranges from 7.33 - 7.70 which is included in the good category for mangrove growth. Temperature values ranging from 27.37oC - 31.63oC are included in the good category for mangrove growth because they can still grow and develop normally. The mangrove density level is dominated by the dense category, which is 2,400 ind/Ha at station 1 and 1,700 ind/Ha at station 2, and the rare category is 1,000 ind/Ha at station 3 and 900 ind/Ha at station 4.
