However, given a large number of social big data, it is hard to find out the meaningful patterns with traditional statistical analysis. The aim of this concept paper is to present how to generate spatiotemporal constraints for analyzing social data. Particularly, To discover the hidden social event, spatio-temporal constraint generation process consists of three methods, which are i) generating spatio-temporal focus (STF), ii) allocating social texts to the STF, and iii) discovering social events in each STF. The STF can be composed by clustering social texts which are topically and spatially associated. To make the STF dynamic and incremental, we use windows for allocating a social text to an adequate STF. Lastly, the hidden social events are discovered from the STF on the basis of keywords and temporal distribution of the social texts. Although, in this study, we limited the proposed method into analyzing social media, it could be extended to discovering events among all possible entities (e.g., people, sensors, and so on).","PeriodicalId":431387,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117110224","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the league concerns a lot of money and fans, several of researches have been trying to predict its results and winning teams. Through its history, a lot of data and statistics have been collected for every player and going to enrich more details because NBA is developing more than ever. Hence, a big data issue for this kind of predictions deserves to have attention and effort on it. With the availability of such enormous data, it is still complicated to analyze and predict the outcome of match. The study chooses different approaches such as support vector machine regression, polynomial regression and random forest regression for a comparative analysis to discover how individual player's performance influences the team winning rate. The comparison results show that the learning techniques we have adopted exhibit competitive capability in prediction, and give quite consistent performance regardless of complexity in input data features.","PeriodicalId":431387,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127257300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In 2013, Baseri et al. proposed an offline electronic cash (e-cash) system using RSA cryptosystem and asserted that their system satisfied anonymity, double spending detection, unforgeability, and date attachability properties and prevented forging. However, we find that their e-cash system is insecure against identity forgery. In this paper, we show that an adversary has three ways to forge a valid identity to withdraw electronic coin (e-coin) from his account at the bank and pay it to the merchant in payment phase. When double spending is detected, the bank cannot reveal the attacker's real identity.","PeriodicalId":431387,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127339421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First of all, in order to ensure that the data of multinational financial markets are better connected, low-quality data has been cleaned up and simplified, including missing value and too much time gap. Then, we analyze the daily signal fluctuations based on statistical methods to find the causality and investment risks of multinational financial markets. Finally, the fuzzy inference system consists of multiple inputs and multiple outputs. The inputs are “US stocks”, “Kur”, “Ske”, “CF” and “SD”, respectively, and the outputs are “ups”, “downs”, “uncertain”, “may-be-ups”, and “may-be-downs”. From the experimental results, it is known that the misjudgment ratio is used as a prerequisite for performance evaluation, and reliable results are obtained for both tradable ratio (Low/Medium-risk area: 1.8, 16 %) and accuracy (Low/Medium-risk area: 66.7, 70.7 %). In summary, the performance of the proposed method has been verified. The risk assessment of multinational financial markets has become a possibility. In future research work, we will continue to explore the possibility of machine learning and optimization algorithms to improve performance and share this result on an open platform.","PeriodicalId":431387,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114150467","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, Building a robust IPS system has been a challenge since its inception due to the attenuation of microwaves or multipath but with the use of Wi-Fi, blue-tooth, Radiofrequency Identification (RFID) and other sensory devices, researchers are have come up with efficient models and algorithms to improve the system. We are proposing a novel approach by integrating iBeacons and Raspberry Pi to collect RSS signals and apply different models on the data then compare the results. In our experiment, two independent layouts were used; iBeacon setup and Pi-Beacon setup which corresponds to our baseline approach and proposed approach respectively. Our proposed approach have shown appreciable reduction in error rate.","PeriodicalId":431387,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114246075","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In modern society, most of the people are too busy to have a physical examination or some people who live in the remote area are difficult to go to the hospital. If everyone has a Doctor Robot at home when they feel uncomfortable, they just go to the front of the doctor robot, and it will start to check your body situation automatically. It will check your body situation and give you the diagnosis result by word and voice. It is, therefore, suitable for a variety of users, including the visually impaired people. Simultaneously, the result is connected to the cloud, so human doctors can see the results from the hospital, if necessary and doctors can help with Telemedicine. User can check data result by using the face. When Doctor Robot sees the user, it will connect it to the recorded data in the system.","PeriodicalId":431387,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122198225","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Land cover-land use (LCLU) classification tasks can take advantage of the fusion of radar and optical remote sensing data, leading generally to increase mapping accuracy. Here we propose a methodological approach to fuse information from the new European Space Agency Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 imagery for accurate land cover mapping of a portion of the South Solok region, West Sumatera. Data pre-processing was carried out using the European Space Agency's Sentinel Application Platform and the SEN2COR toolboxes. The two main objectives of this study are to evaluate the potential use and synergetic effects of ESA Sentinel-1A C-band SAR and Sentinel-2A Optical data for classification and mapping of LCLU. As a result of the research, two main advantages. First, the pre-processing chain supported by sensor-specific toolboxes developed by ESA represents a reliable and fast approach for the preparation of ready-to-process imagery. Second, investigation to derive a methodological framework to integrate Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 imagery for land cover mapping by integrating of radar and optical imagery have been set up and tested.","PeriodicalId":431387,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129892560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The parameterizations of direct form and cascade of second-order factors are employed to represent the denominators. For both parameterizations, the pole radii are constrained within a prescribed circle centered at the origin of the complex plane. The positive realness condition and an internal stability triangle are used to constrain the pole radii of direct form and cascade form denominators respectively. We incorporate the benefits of less nonlinearity of direct form denominator and the necessary and sufficient property on controlling the pole radii of cascade form denominator to design the IIR filter that converges to the true local optimum solution. That is, the direct form is first carried out to search a good solution, and then the results are used as the initial point of the cascade form to search true local optimum. This paper develops a robust and stable algorithm to design IIR digital filters with acceptable results.","PeriodicalId":431387,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127891235","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to achieve reliable communication several error detection mechanisms have so far been implemented using conventional electronics which do not match with the pace of optical processing of digital bits. In this research, implementation of the encoding of (7, 4) Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) code using optical method has been shown. The CRC encoder has been designed using Lithium Niobate (LiNb03) waveguide based Mach-Zehnder Interferometers (MZI). The structure simulated using beam propagation method has shown accurate encoding of the CRC code. The design parameters as well as the performance parameters have been described briefly.","PeriodicalId":431387,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121601946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
