A crash typically happens within an average of three seconds after a driver is distracted. The purpose of this paper is to design and develop smart mobile application that block the driver's mobile phone while car is moving above a given threshold. Zhunussova","doi":"10.1109/SSFC.2016.7447880","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/SSFC.2016.7447880","url":null,"abstract":"With the advancement of high-resolution Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), measurements of variables related to the urban environment, such as air quality, can be optimized. Regarding smart solutions for the future cities, CFD allows for the optimizing of location for instrumentation to monitor air quality in order to facilitate optimized measures to counteract any potential detrimental effect on the local populations' health, at relatively low cost. To illustrate the power and efficiency of CFD this paper reports on a study in Kuwait of the dispersion of CO2 gas. Based on the case of dispersion of CO2 emanating from traffic in a busy street and in the vicinity of a complex configuration of buildings located in Salmiya, Kuwait City, the suggested location for installing air quality monitoring instrumentation has been identified for two situations: before and after adding a new building. Before adding the new building, the highest CO2 concentration was found in the immediate proximity of the residential buildings some 200 m South-East of the main street. After adding the new building, the highest CO2 concentration was found on the windward side of the new building immediately next to the main street. Scientists have been trying hard to improve the living standards day by day by fulfilling the power demands of the people in best and efficient way, Therefore apart from the common grid system used for power supply, various secondary sources such as generators, invertors, UPS (uninterrupted power supply) etc. are widely used these days to fulfill the energy needs. Our research focuses on one of the secondary electricity sources i.e. Smart Photo Voltaic Solar Panels which ensures sustainable energy system and smart solution for efficient power utilization. Research also includes the survey conducted in major cities of Pakistan, to collect data from common household. Once this data is received, the reverse geo-coding enables to convert a coordinate obtained by GPS to a readable street address which is easier to understand by the emergency personal. The nearest emergency vehicle is located not based on the distance as being done currently but based on the real-time traffic analysis so that precious minutes are saved from the commute time of these vehicles. This system is highly beneficial to the people to avail any emergency service when they are in an unfamiliar place and it also reduces the necessity to remember the contact number of nearest emergency or rescue service.
