The existing mutual interaction of the variables involved hinders the optimization of the system and urges the need to embed it with high performance and adaptability against changes in response to different characteristics. In this paper is proposed a validated method for the regulation of the bioreactor’s agitation speed and temperature as well as compound pH by traditional techniques based on ON-OFF, integrators, derivatives and Fuzzy controls. The resulting control system enables its configuration and supervision either locally or remotely with encryption, managing the content stored and exchanged between devices.","PeriodicalId":42925,"journal":{"name":"Memoria Investigaciones en Ingenieria","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2020-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43662309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides, the production of compost from organic solid waste is presented as a way of revaluation of the organic fraction, which replaces the most widely used method of waste disposal in our country, the landfill. Although composting does not offer great profits, as a counterpart it doesn’t have great associated costs and reduces the environmental impact compared with the most common method of waste disposal in the country, making it an attractive alternative. The project proposes to process 370 tons of food waste per month, generating 180 tons of compost per month, quality A or B. Regarding packaging, the alternatives analyzed for recycling were not economically viable, so it’s proposed to compact and dispose it on sanitary landfill. Although this isn’t the expected treatment, it reduces the environmental impact with respect to the disposal of the original waste. Finally, it is concluded that given the current conditions and the prices observed in the market, the project is technically but not economically viable.","PeriodicalId":42925,"journal":{"name":"Memoria Investigaciones en Ingenieria","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2020-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48501671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Por ello urge una solucion que asista a los analistas de ciberseguridad a detectar los incidentes con rapidez. Para optimizar el tiempo de deteccion en el proyecto se desarrollo un clasificador que filtre lineas de logs de servidores web en formato CLF (Combined Log Format) que indican comportamiento anomalo. Para ello, se codifican los logs de acceso en representacion vectorial y luego se usa el algoritmo de aprendizaje automatico K-NN ponderado (K vecinos mas proximos) para filtrar los logs. Los datos de entrada fueron provistos por el CERTuy (Equipo de Respuesta ante Emergencias Informaticas) y el SOC (Centro de Operaciones de Seguridad). De las pruebas realizadas sobre el servicio de clasificacion, se detecto el 82% de ofensas de ciberseguridad de un conjunto de datos asociado, se logro filtrar el 80% de logs que indican comportamiento normal y se disminuyo el tiempo de deteccion de logs que indican comportamiento anomalo de 13 horas a 15 minutos. EnglishThe number of attacks on government websites has escalated in the last years. In order to assist in the detection process conducted by cybersecurity analysts, this document suggests implementing machine learning techniques over web server access logs. The overall objective is to optimize the detection time using a customized classifier which selects traces corresponding to anomalous activity. Specifically, web server combined log format (CLF) access logs coded as real vectors are an input to a weighted K-NN nearest neighbors’ model. The methodology was tested on datasets and premises provided by the CERTuy (National Cybersecurity Event Response Team) and the SOC (Security Operations Center). According to evaluations 82% of cybersecurity offenses have been detected, 80% of normal behavior has been filtered and the reduction time has been reduced from 13 hours to 15 minutes.","PeriodicalId":42925,"journal":{"name":"Memoria Investigaciones en Ingenieria","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2020-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41453380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of the networks for the thermal distribution is to offer a service of air conditioning (comfort heating and cooling) and the production of sanitary hot water for the residents of the different buildings of an area connected to the network, guaranteeing better energy efficiency and quality of service with respect to what would be obtained from individual installations. If the use of an energetic waste to produce heat, is added to the possibility of placing cogeneration plants (with a production comfort heating and cooling and electric power), the district heating business becomes even more prosperous. In the present paper, after a long review of the state of the art of heating of the Biomass District Heating, the technical implications of the equipment of a thermal power plant and the agricultural activity of Uruguay, a practical solution is proposed to be replicated in all the small communities of the country. For this solution, three particular crops residues - soybean, grape and olive residues –are used.","PeriodicalId":42925,"journal":{"name":"Memoria Investigaciones en Ingenieria","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2020-06-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49398701","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
