The primary goal of green computing is to reduce the carbon footprint caused by businesses and industries involved in information technology and systems. To go with green computing, various sorts of practices emerged at both the organizational and individual levels. When adopting green computing methods at the individual or organizational level, behavioral intention toward green computing has been highlighted as a key component. The primary goal of this study is to examine the relationship between factors and behavioral intention toward green computing practices among Sri Lankan undergraduates and then to present a validated model and make recommendations based on the findings. The conceptual framework was created using the theory of planned behavior and the norm activation model. A total of 165 samples were obtained by online questionnaire from undergraduates around twelve different universities, including both private and public universities. The collected data was analyzed using the PLS-SEM method, and the moderation effect of gender, respondent sector, and Sri Lanka’s economic crisis was examined. The personal norm’s mediation effect was investigated. The findings revealed that cost savings and personal norms had a substantial impact on behavioral intention. None of the moderators discovered a moderation effect, and it was discovered that there is a partial mediation from the personal norm. In conclusion, the study revealed that Sri Lankan institutions should focus more on providing a supportive social environment and making green computing techniques simple and easy to access for undergraduates.","PeriodicalId":429228,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Research Conference on Smart Computing and Systems Engineering (SCSE)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114720786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, despite the growing interest in CI/CD adoption, many organizations have not achieved full success in implementing and utilizing the CI/CD workflow. To address this gap, this study aimed to identify the factors that drive the behavioural intention of IT employees to use the CI/CD workflow: based on the Sri Lankan context. A systematic literature review using the PRISMA framework identified the Technology Acceptance Model and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology models as the most widely used and accepted models for understanding technology adoption. Therefore, TAM, UTAUT and past literature were used to develop the conceptual framework. The variables in this research model were measured through questionnaires with nominal and five-point Likert scales and close-ended questions, which were completed by the IT employees in Sri Lanka. Data cleaning and demographic data analysis were conducted using IBM SPSS 21, and preliminary data analysis was performed using PLS-SEM (SmartPLS 4). The study found that Performance expectancy is the most significant factor determining IT employees’ behavioural intention to use CI/CD workflow. Therefore, the study concluded that organizations and management should focus more on enhancing employees’ performance expectancy to adopt CI/CD workflow successfully.","PeriodicalId":429228,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Research Conference on Smart Computing and Systems Engineering (SCSE)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121029254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dance is frequently passed down through generations as an essential component of a culture’s identity and as a means of maintaining and honoring that culture’s distinctive traditions and customs. A culture’s history, beliefs, and values can be powerfully expressed via dance, which can also be used for communication and storytelling. For the purpose of protecting and promoting India’s cultural legacy, it is crucial to comprehend how Indian dance styles are categorized. This paper proposes a hybrid Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) deep learning approach for the accurate classification of Indian dance style categories. The proposed model combines the strengths of both CNN and RNN to leverage spatial and temporal information, respectively, resulting in enhanced performance and improved accuracy. Extensive experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed approach. The results demonstrate that the hybrid CNN-RNN model achieved an impressive accuracy of 97.74%, outperforming traditional methods and single-model architectures.","PeriodicalId":429228,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Research Conference on Smart Computing and Systems Engineering (SCSE)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115282479","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Integrating the Agile methodology with ITIL, particularly in project lifecycle management, has proven challenging for researchers. To address this and facilitate Business As Usual (BAU) activities in the IT industry, a proposed framework called A-ITIL (Agile-ITIL combined framework) has been introduced. This research focuses on the requirement of combining Agile and ITIL in BAU tasks within the IT sector. Critical success factors for integrating Agile with ITIL in BAU activities have been identified through shared questionnaires and research articles. The research process involved an online questionnaire to assess the Agile-ITIL literacy of respondents and determine the necessity of combining Agile and ITIL in BAU. A second questionnaire was used to evaluate the transparency of transitioning BAU between Agile and ITIL, document the challenges faced during this transition, and propose mitigating strategies involving key stakeholders. Based on the questionnaire results, a user story was created to identify key points for the A-ITIL framework. Additionally, research articles were analyzed to identify key success factors for Agile and ITIL separately. Combining these findings, along with insights from an interview with Agile/ITIL experts, an A-ITIL conceptual model was designed as a foundation for integrating Agile-ITIL and ensuring smooth BAU activities within IT organizations","PeriodicalId":429228,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Research Conference on Smart Computing and Systems Engineering (SCSE)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128627966","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The last-mile delivery in the e-commerce industry is facing high costs due to a going economic crisis which led to fuel and other operating cost increments. To overcome this situation, the e-commerce industry needs to optimise vehicle delivery routing based on time windows to minimise the overall cost. Despite numerous studies on last-mile delivery, there is a paucity of studies on last-mile delivery optimisation considering the customer’s anticipated time windows. Therefore, this study has been conducted with the objective of optimising and minimising transportation costs and vehicle usage in last-mile delivery operations while meeting some practical requirements such as a variety of package types, package compatibility on different types of vehicles; the customer expected delivery time windows and a heterogeneous fleet of vehicles. After a careful literature review, this paper introduces a mathematical model to optimise last-mile delivery. The proposed mathematical model was simulated in SupplyChainGuru® modelling and simulation software. The study concluded that the overall last-mile delivery cost is minimised by about 22% while reducing the number of vehicles on the route, failed delivery package count and utilising the maximum possible capacity of vehicles while also increasing customer satisfaction by giving consumers a chance to select customer preferred time windows for package delivery. This cluster-based delivery will improve the routing of the e-commerce logistic supply chain and will serve as a platform for extending the cluster-based delivery process to other industries as well.","PeriodicalId":429228,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Research Conference on Smart Computing and Systems Engineering (SCSE)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117209837","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
