The chances of mortality can be highly reduced if cancer is detected in the initial phases. Early screening via inspecting the biopsy samples is an effective way to detect cancer at its early stages. But this procedure requires a well-trained doctor to identify suspected regions for sample collection. The lack of specialized hospitals and adequately trained healthcare workers in rural regions of the country might lead to undetected cervical cancer. In this paper, we propose a system to remotely assist a healthcare worker in collecting a biopsy sample from the cervix by a trained practitioner using the Microsoft Hololens 2 headset. For this study, the proposed augmented reality system projects a 3D model of the cervix into the real environment, which can be remotely annotated. We plan to use this system for onsite data collection in later stages. Although the proposed solution has been tested for simulation environments with good results, we can foresee its huge potential for remote cervical cancer screening.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117001840","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When someone experience stress, there body produce physical and mental responses. The body responds with a change in circumstance by introducing different physiological, biological, or physical changes based around the specific event. This paper covers the effect of physiological stress on different biological signal that generates due to biological events and can be measure reliably using physiological measures such as electrocardiogram (ECG), electromyogram (EMG), electroencephalogram (EEG), electrodermal activity (EDA) and bodily measures (speech, breathing rate, eye activity, skin temperature etc.). Different people respond in a variety of ways to different types of stressors, for example, some people might react strongly to a Stroop Color-Word Test (SCWT) or mental arithmetic tasks (MAT), while others will not be as affected by them. SCWT can elicit social stress created by being exposed to interviews or the idea that one’s performance will be judged. The studies performed in this paper is mainly done in controlled environments. However, it is not likely that stressors in everyday life will be as intense. Observations of biosignals makes it easier to monitor arousal, which can provide evidence of stress when modelling it into other more complex states such as anxiety.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124430687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many researchers around the world have addressed this task and managed to achieve satisfactory results. However, the problem of automating detection of pedestrians in the crowd is still an open issue depending on the density of crowd in a scene. To ensure safety and security, automating the crowd detection and tracking process in real time is necessary in designing a robust and secure system. Detecting and localizing objects has successfully aided in identifying the major problems with detecting pedestrians and has been a major step forward in managing crowd automatically. In this paper, we have used tiny YOLOv4. YOLO (You Only Look Once) has proved quite useful in detecting and localizing objects in an image with impressive response speed. YOLO network usually scales an entire image into fixed sized grids and then identifies and detects the region into these grids using bounding boxes. Using transfer learning on an already trained YOLO inception model on COCO dataset, detection of pedestrians in surveillance videos is handled. The paper discusses the implementation and detection performance of the proposed YOLOv4 tiny model on the UCSD pedestrian Detection dataset with promising results.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"171 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115752890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It operates for 24 hours of a day and feeds the load. Sometimes the situation may occur when the load on the transformer is suddenly increased above its rated capacity because of the growing demands of energy. When this situation occurs, the transformer will be overloaded and overheated and may damage the insulation of transformer resulting in interruption of supply. The best solution to avoid the overloading is to operate the number of transformers in parallel. In the suggested approach auxiliary transformer will share the load when the load on the main transformer will rise above its rated capacity. The main aim of the work is also to provide an un-interrupted power supply to the energy consumers (priority based). Fuzzy logic is used for parallel operation of transformers. The problem of interruption of supply due to transformer overloading or overheating can be avoided.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"142 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131641765","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The technology has advantages and large number of potential use cases for mission critical communication utilizing Fifth Generation (5G) infrastructure and services. The implementation of device to device (D2D) communication in 5G provides necessary low latency due to stringent key performance indicators specified by 3GPP and is achieved with changed system models and parameters. This paper reviews the advancements in mission critical device to device communication. System models for four different cases with operator and base station assisted links or dedicated communication setup between device has been discussed in paper. The mathematical expressions of signal to Noise ratio and system rate calculation have been derived. Simulation and analysis of SNR of D2D and cellular users under different scenarios with Rayleigh fading incorporating path loss model has been achieved. Analysis shows that D2D communication provides higher SNR in certain scenarios compared to cellular communication. Specifically, when two nearby devices communicate using D2D, they can achieve higher SNR than when they communicate through the base station. For devices at larger distances the SNR performance of cellular devices is better due to increased co channel interference in case of D2D users.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127017873","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Additionally, approximately 30% of controllers experience oscillating effects, while 35% of actuators are plagued by mechanical issues due to inadequate preventive maintenance. The full potential of industrial process control and automation can now be achieved by integrating the Internet of Things (IIoT) and advanced intelligent controllers. The advancements in computational power have opened the door for a radical transformation of how we manage industrial processes. Our research paper delves into the crucial role that IIoT technology plays in addressing the persistent challenges faced in industrial process control. These challenges include poor tuning, oscillating effects, and mechanical issues from a lack of maintenance. By integrating the Kepware OPC server and MATLAB toolboxes, our innovative IIoT platform combines the power of visual basic programming with sophisticated algorithms to model the process, identify optimal parameters, and monitor the system in real time. The outcome of this innovative approach is nothing short of extraordinary. Our platform delivers a simulated or experimental process that is connected, optimized, and completely controlled. The result is a more accurate and efficient process, with improved performance and reduced downtime. The use of advanced intelligent controllers and IIoT technology can revolutionize the field of industrial process control and automation, unlocking new possibilities and delivering unmatched performance.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127456144","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is done by identifying and eliminating the redundant or insignificant variables in the system, resulting in a reduced order model (ROM) that captures the essential dynamics of the original system. In the context of PHWRs, MOR can be used to reduce the large number of equations and variables that describe the reactor's behavior, making it possible to perform detailed simulations and analyses that would otherwise be infeasible. MOR can be applied to different levels of the PHWR model, such as the core, the primary circuit, or the whole plant. The choice of the MOR method depends on the particular aspect of the PHWR that needs to be studied. The most common MOR methods are the balanced truncation, proper orthogonal decomposition and the reduced basis method. MOR can be used to improve the efficiency of the design and control of PHWRs, as well as to provide a better understanding of the underlying physical processes and to enhance the safety and reliability of the reactor.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"2020 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121785656","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It can be achieved by analyzing disease related data being collected by various government agencies/hospitals. Public health officials keep track of information, predict possible outbreaks, and keep an eye on emergency situations using this data. In the recent past, social media has grown enough to have deep impact on people’s life specially during time of pandemic. Analysis of social media data offers meaningful insights towards disease surveillance. It helps in figuring out how much people know about diseases and how they feel about official/government health related communications and responses. In this study, we present review of most recent works which used social media as a data source for the prevention & prediction of outbreaks. Additionally, we discuss methods that are being implemented on social media data towards designing robust disease outbreak prediction models. This study emphasizes how social media has helped during various outbreaks in the past.
