The condition of the simultaneous existence of multiple disorders is referred to as comorbidity. The treatment for a mental disorder is required to be modulated in the case of comorbidity. Thus, the detection of comorbidity is necessary. The comorbidity between major depressive disorder (MDD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is well investigated through several modalities, which are either intrusive or costly. Recently, the audio-video modality has been explored to detect several mental disorders for being non-intrusive and cost-effective. The comorbidity detection between MDD and PTSD on audio-video modality is yet to be reported. In this study, we present initial work on the detection of comorbidity between MDD and PTSD on a publicly available audio-video dataset. To detect MDD/PTSD comorbidity separately, we created two overlapping subsets of the dataset comprising participants diagnosed with MDD/PTSD. The overlapping part in the two subsets comprises data of participants diagnosed with both MDD and PTSD. The best performance for MDD comorbidity detection is found to be 0.789 in terms of macro-averaging F1score. In contrast, it is found to be 0.647 for PTSD comorbidity detection.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"234 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133351824","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Robot control is crucial when it comes to real-time implementation of the control algorithms, hence a good theoretical analysis becomes important. Three different control algorithms have been presented for a two-link manipulator with their simulation results. The dynamics of the robotic manipulator are evaluated using the Euler-Lagrangian method. The robot model featuring some nonlinearity has been handled by linearising the equation of motion of the two-link robot. State-space model of the linearized version is designed and a proportional-integralderivative controller, linear quadratic regulator, state-feedback, and state-feedforward controllers are applied. State feedback and feedforward have been combined together and implemented to observe their effectiveness. Simulations are carried out on MATLAB to compare the effectiveness of individual control techniques. The performance analysis of individual joints has been presented. A discussion on the merits and demerits of a better approach has been furnished.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"230 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133628932","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The generative adversarial network (GAN) has emerged as an effective artificial data generation method. Motivated by that, we explore the generation of auditory event-related electroencephalographic (EEG) signals and their task-specific authentication in this work. For synthesizing subject-specific EEG signals, a conditional deep convolutional GAN is used. Apart from measuring the usual signal similarity, we also computed the correlation between the subject-wise event-related potentials (ERPs) corresponding to the real and synthetic EEG data. The characterization of the ERPs highlights that the GAN is not only able to learn the distribution of real EEG signals but also can preserve their temporal characteristics. Further, EEG biometrics experiments are also performed to verify the effectiveness of the synthesized EEG signals in data augmentation. It is noted that the averaged classification accuracy improves by augmenting the real data set with synthetic EEG signals.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115119328","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the modelling of DILRNN, three feedback loops are taken i.e., the first feedback is taken from the unit delay of the output to the hidden layer, the second feedback is taken from the previous value of hidden layer to itself and the last feedback is taken from the previous value of output to output. The weight is updated with the help of the algorithm after every iteration. The output of the proposed DILRNN model reduces error significantly vis-à-vis other Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) models for constant value of iterations and epochs. The statistical parameters such as RMSE and TMAE for the proposed model are greatly in comparison to other models and thereby enhances the accuracy of the model.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121988164","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This mixed type of structure has led to lack of inertia of the AC microgrid. However, this leads to increase deviation in frequency, rate of change of frequency, as a results, overall stability is more sensitive towards disturbance. Hence, the sliding mode control scheme is developed to provide a frequency support for the inverter based connected DGs in AC microgrid. The deviations in state trajectories guarantee to minimize the negative impact of inertia deficiency on AC microgrid state trajectories. In addition, proposed law performance in terms of trajectories and static error indices compares with linear quadratic regulator method. It achieves minimum time characteristics simultaneously such as over/undershoot, settling time even in presence of load vulnerabilities. The proposed control law is demonstrated using MATLAB simulation.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130406838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An abundance of Photovoltaic (PV) array installations attests to solar power’s expanding role in the renewable energy sector. Partial shadowing/mismatch situations are a risk for PV arrays that can cause significant power losses and reduce the lifetime of the solar panels. A partially shaded PV array’s power-voltage characterization exhibits many local maxima, one of which is the global maximum power point. The effects of mismatch conditions on the PV array are lessened by Reconfiguration strategies, that are further categorized into Static and Dynamic Reconfiguration strategies. This article offers a variety of the puzzle patterns that may be found in the literature that are based on the Mathematical based Static reconfiguration strategies. Mathematical based reconfiguration technique use a mathematical rule to reconfigure PV arrays. By implementing these reconfiguration strategies, it was discovered that power production could be enhanced while at the same time, shade was better spread.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128794578","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modified Versoria function based Fast Zero Attracting Least Mean Square (MVFZA-LMS) technique is used in this paper to control a 3phase grid-tied solar PV system. The suggested control scheme focuses on extracting Peak power from the PV array and alleviates concerns pertaining to power quality (PQ), alongside harmonics elimination, balancing of load, and pf improvement under the time-varying scenarios. With the help of the above-mentioned control topology, dynamic performance is enhanced, which increases the response time and robustness of the system. Suggested topology reduces problems associated with PQ and offer conditioning of current by adjusting its weight component while functioning in coordination with an underdeveloped grid, with inferior quality of power in response to voltage distortions and imbalances. The model is simulated using MATLAB Simulink and the response has been thoroughly investigated. It is found that the efficacy of the model under dynamic environmental and load conditions is quite satisfactory.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126465486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

No clustering algorithm is suited for all types of data sets, but partitional clustering lays foundation for almost all-important clustering algorithms. Single solution can be achieved in case of single objective clustering, but in multiobjective clustering the solution becomes set of solution vector. Multiobjective clustering has made the pattern recognition possible in more than one dimension. The solution strategy of Multiobjective clustering is conceptualized on Pareto dominance. A multiobjective NSTLBO-KFCM is implemented in this paper using non-dominated sorting technique. The clustering algorithm is then compared with multiobjective non dominated sorting genetic algorithm third generation-based kernel fuzzy C-means (NSGAIII-KFCM) algorithm and multiobjective particle swarm optimization-based kernel fuzzy C-means (MPSO-KFCM) algorithm. The algorithm is also compared with non-dominated sorting teaching learning-based optimization with fuzzy C-means (NSTLBO-FCM) algorithm and the results show that NSTLBO-KFCM is superior clustering algorithm.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123091650","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The voltage profile and short circuit levels may be impacted in a number of different ways by the addition of WTG to a radial distribution system. Fault current level fluctuates as a result of fault incidence, which affects the operating time of various protective relays and various distribution system equipment. In order to maximize relay working time and prevent any malfunction operations, it is crucial to calculate and provide methods for protecting relay settings. This suggested method approach is evaluated on lengthy, lightly loaded an unbalanced IEEE 34 bus system. Because a three-phase system can be used to depict a multiphase distribution system, two-phase and single-phase line segments are represented according to their sequence value. The outcomes are analyzed using a simulation in Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP) and a sequence-based network.","PeriodicalId":429116,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical, Electronics & Digital Healthcare Technologies (REEDCON)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123096497","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There has been a great deal of interest from researchers in switched capacitor multilevel inverters (SC-MLIs) for such applications. SC-MLIs provides the benefits of voltage boosting feature and self-voltage balancing of capacitors. This paper analyzes and reviews some of the recently proposed thirteen-level SC-MLI topologies. An analysis of various thirteen-level SC-MLI topologies has been presented in this article, and their comparison is performed based on the number of dc supply, switches, diodes, capacitors, driver circuits, boosting, total standing voltage (TSV) and cost function. This paper will help young and energetic researchers’ academicians and engineers to focus on multidimensional application of new topologies for SC-MLIs and has offered a good platform to come up with some environmental friendly solution.
