The performed systems analysis of the transition from 1D to 2D digital Fourier processing of 2D FD signals showed that such a transition is far from trivial. Some important properties of 2D DFT have no analogs at all in the one-dimensional case and, therefore, some important properties of 2D DFT cannot be obtained by generalizing the properties of 1D DFT to the two-dimensional case. In the transition from 1D to 2D Fourier processing of 2D FD signals, the computational costs also increase by several orders of magnitude. This posed the challenge of developing fast procedures for 2D DFT implementation of 2D FD signals. One of the important analytical properties of 2D DFT, the theoretical basis of classical Fourier processing of 2D FD signals, is the separability of its kernel. Based on the consequences arising from this property of the 2D DFT kernel, two methods have been developed to reduce the number of computational operations in the implementation of 2D DFT of 2D FD signals. The basis of these methods is fast one-dimensional Fourier transform algorithm with decimation in time, no place way. The work proved the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed methods by means of mathematical modeling.","PeriodicalId":428492,"journal":{"name":"2022 24th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing and its Applications (DSPA)","volume":"4565 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124088959","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Current algorithm reduces FIR-filters' a number of multipliers expressing initial impulse response samples through the other initial impulse response samples. This approach allows replacing multipliers with shift registers and adders, which leads to reduction of FIR-filters' power consumption and required crystal area. The method is based on the representation of multi-digit digital images by a set of bit images and the use of the mathematical apparatus of two-dimensional Markov chains. Transition probabilities for a two-dimensional Markov chain and brightness characteristics are used as textural features of extended objects. The selection of small-sized objects is performed on the basis of an estimate of the amount of information using a mathematical model of a two-dimensional Markov chain. To reduce computational resources, the evaluation of features is carried out using binary images of the highest, most informative, image digits. The average accuracy of segmentation of extended areas according to the F-measure metric is 68.9%, for small-sized objects is 47.5%.","PeriodicalId":428492,"journal":{"name":"2022 24th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing and its Applications (DSPA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130413498","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Separately performing cross-correlation of DMRS symbols for different time positions is conducted to reduce the computational complexity and estimate the value of sampling frequency offset (SFO). To achieve high accuracy, subsample offset estimation is performed based on parabolic interpolation. Performance is evaluated through computer simulations and the results show a rapid convergence of SFO estimator to the actual values and low root mean square error (RMSE) curves for different channel models. The effect of time domain SFO compensation on the performance of maximum likelihood (ML) carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimator is also evaluated in terms of the mean-squared error (MSE) as a function of signal to noise ratio (SNR).","PeriodicalId":428492,"journal":{"name":"2022 24th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing and its Applications (DSPA)","volume":"48 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126087581","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The algorithm uses only 2 s of the cycle to reduce the risk of phase changes during measurements. Tests on field data consisting of approximately 1,500 cycles demonstrate stable fluid phase determination of water, oil, and gas. A comparison with expert interpretation of the same field data showed good agreement, with discrepancies between two interpretations primarily occurring during phase changes.","PeriodicalId":428492,"journal":{"name":"2022 24th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing and its Applications (DSPA)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125114124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
