{"title":"Surface‐Inspection‐Pad (SIP)","authors":"Michael Wahl, Wolfgang Bock, Michael Kopnarski","doi":"10.1002/vipr.202300808","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1002/vipr.202300808","url":null,"abstract":"Zusammenfassung Das Surface‐Inspection‐Pad, kurz SIP, bietet eine kostengünstige und ressourcenschonende Alternative zur Probennahme für eine vakuumgestützte Kontaminationskontrolle von Bauteiloberflächen. Die Analyse der Oberflächenchemie des Bauteils erfolgt dann durch die Analyse der SIP‐Oberfläche. Zur Analyse kann neben anderen Methoden insbesondere die oberflächensensitive Flugzeit‐Sekundärionen‐Massenspektrometrie (ToF‐SIMS) verwendet werden. Die zu untersuchenden Bauteile müssen somit nicht mehr aus dem Prozess entfernt und für die Analyse zerstört werden. Der Anwendende kann so enorme Kosten einsparen. Weiterhin können SIPs für die Kontaminationskontrolle in Schmierstoffkreisläufen und Flüssigkeiten eingesetzt werden. Dies wird durch eine geradlinige Führung der ionisierenden Elektronen auf ihrem Weg durch den Ionisationsraum ermöglicht. Das neue Hochvakuum‐messgerät ist für Anwendungen als Referenzmessgerät und in Prozessanlagen, bei denen hohe Reproduzierbarkeit gefordert ist, geeignet.
