The religious situation and evolution of each country is outlined using data mainly from the European Value Survey (1981, 1990). The institutional status of religion is more or less favorablefrom national religion to laicite. The comparison within each country illustrates that the link between this status and the religious situation is very weak. The different institutional settings are part of each country's history and are usally maintained regardless of the present level of religious feeling.","PeriodicalId":426608,"journal":{"name":"Research in the Social Scientific Study of Religion, Volume 7","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128058535","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
